Analysis On The Cost And Benefit Of The Mutton Sheep Breeding Industry In Hebei Province

With the rapid development of economy and the constant adjustment of residents' diet structure,the demand for mutton keeps increasing.The mutton market presents a state of flourishing supply and demand,which provides a precious opportunity for the development of mutton sheep breeding industry.In recent years,although the net profit and cost profit margin of mutton sheep breeding in Hebei Province fluctuate greatly,the economic income and operating effect are not ideal.In this paper,Hebei Province mutton sheep breeding industry as the research object,its cost and income were analyzed.On the one hand,it is beneficial to put forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for "reducing cost and increasing income".On the other hand,it is conducive to improving the competitive advantages of the mutton sheep breeding industry in Hebei Province,promoting the enthusiasm of farmers and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the mutton sheep breeding industry.This paper is based on the cost-benefit theory and the theory of comparative advantage.Comparative analysis method and econometric analysis method are adopted in this paper.By sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literatures,this paper mainly sorted out relevant cost and benefit data of mutton sheep breeding industry in Hebei Province from 2008 to 2017.Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted on the development status of mutton sheep breeding industry in Hebei Province from the perspective of costs and benefits,and the comparison was made with the national level.The potential competitiveness and relative disadvantages of mutton sheep breeding industry in Hebei Province are summarized.On the basis of this analysis,taking the net profit as the explanatory variable.Selected the cub,feed,labor costs,the average selling price and main production the five indicators.Through the establishment of multiple linear regression model,empirical research was conducted on the factors affecting the net profit of mutton sheep breeding in Hebei Province.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through descriptive statistical analysis of cost and income data,it can be concluded that the majority of mutton sheep farmers(farms)in Hebei Province are small-scale free-range farmers with less than 100 sheep.The proportion of total cost has changed a lot.The proportion of labor cost has increased and exceeded 50%.Profit and cost margins fluctuate wildly,even falling into negative territory.Through the analysis is due to the gross output value of the violent fluctuations of the net profit and cost margin appear larger fluctuations.(2)Through the comparative analysis with the national level,it can be concluded that the total cost of mutton sheep breeding industry in Hebei Province has a dominant position compared with the national level,among which the piglet fee and feed fee have the most obvious advantages.The degree of labor cost advantage is relatively weak.And output is not the dominant reason is that the average selling price is low.(3)By influencing factor analysis can be concluded that the degree of impact on net profit order from large to small is: average selling price,labor cost,piglet cost,feed cost,main product output.The innovation of this paper is to use the multiple linear regression model to carry on the empirical analysis,to analyze the influence degree of each factor to the net profit,and further to carry on the analysis to the influence factor.From the perspective of research,through the comparative analysis of Hebei Province and the average level of all provinces and the whole country.The comparative advantages and disadvantages of the cost-benefit level in Hebei Province are obtained.From the cost point of view,the paper puts forward that the feed resources should be extensively developed and the standardized breeding mode should be explored through the promotion of improved breed breeding.From the perspective of income,it puts forward some measures such as ensuring food hygiene and safety,building brand advantage and strengthening brand competitiveness.Also from the perspective of government support to improve the price monitoring mechanism to provide breeding technology support and other measures.
