As an important source of plant growth state,image is helpful for visualization of agricultural production process.In this paper,by monitoring the image of plants,we can intuitively understand their growth status.The processing and transmission of plant images is conducive to data comparison and analysis,as well as agricultural precision production and high quality and yield.In this paper,the plant disease image was selected as the research object,an embedded monitoring system based on signal processing,codec and image processing and transmission technology was designed.The hardware includes PC,network hardware,CCD cameras,HD monitors,and DM6467 processor.The software mainly includes the development environment construction related software and image processing transmission software.According to the existing technology and the realization of functional objectives,the hardware and software environment was configured and designed.According to the design scheme,this paper used the DM6467 processor as the main processor,used the embedded Linux operating system as the main software platform,and builded an overall development environment,including simulation debugging environment,Linux development environment,Qt application environment.In the embedded Linux operating system,the H.264 codec,grayscale transformation,histogram statistics and edge detection programs were compiled and downloaded to the development board by cross-compiling.Users can directly call the application program for related image processing.According to the analysis results of image processing in the development board,the information of plant diseases was obtained,and the time of collecting plant images was set.Ethernet transmission,Qt network transmission,ZigBee wireless transmission and WiFi wireless transmission of plant images were designed,and the debugging analysis was carried out.According to the specific environment and requirements,the appropriate transmission mode could be selected to transmit the disease image to the PC in time.In the Lab VIEW development environment,the disease image was processed and identified using the disease spot area calculation and the disease spot tone extraction method,which improved the disease recognition effect.The system integrates embedded,image processing and transmission technologies,which can realize the functions of signal acquisition,processing and transmission of plant images.It provides technical support for fine diagnosis of plant diseases and improves the level of agricultural intelligence.
