Nasonia vitripennis is a typical parasitic wasp in the pupa stage of flies and has good biological control potential.Like other kinds of parasitic wasps,N.vitripennis has a welldeveloped venom system, which can store the venom in active form in the venom reservoir. The previous studies mainly focused on the types and functions of venom proteins in N.vitripennis venom, but there was no report on the existence of microorganisms in N.vitripennis venom capsules. In this study,we explored the species and abundance of the microorganisms in the venom reservior of the N.vitripennis through dissecting a large number of the N.vitripennis venom reservoir, detected the group and abundance of culturable and culture-free microorganisms in venom combined with the changes of microbial community in M.domestica pupae before and after parasitism, and investigated the interaction between the N.vitripennis and its host from the perspective of microorganisms. Our research results were mainly as follows:1.There were abundant microbial groups in the N.vitripennis venom reservoir. In this study,a total of 756 OTUs were obtained in the venom reservoir, which can be classified into22 Phylum, mainly distributed in Firmicutes,Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes.2.Wolbachia can exist in the venom reservoir of the reproductive system of Nasonia vitripennis, and the existence of Wolbachia could reduce the microbial diversity in the venom reservoir.3.After the parasitism of housefly pupae by N.vitripennis, the interaction between different strains was changed with the venom injected into the pupae, the bacterial correlation index was enhanced, and the interaction between strains was more complex. The species abundance of some bacteria from the N.vitripennis venom reservoir in the Musca domestica pupae increased significantly.4.A total of 10 kinds of bacteria were obtained from the isolation and culture experiment of the bacteria in the N.vitripennis venom reservoir. After feeding these 10 bacteria to housefly larvae,it was found that Serratia marcescens,Paenibacillus solani and Bacillus safensis had a significant lethal effect on housefly larvae and showed growth and development delay. Our results revealed the interaction between Nasonia vitripennis and their hosts from the perspective of microecology and enrich the theory of the interaction between them.At the same time,it provides new insight of biological control of pests.
