In order to clarify the annual variety matching and the appropriate irrigation amount of winter wheat-summer maize,and further improve the annual yield and water use efficiency,the effects of irrigation amount on the annual physiological characteristics,material production and water use efficiency of different combinations of winter wheat-summer maize varieties were studied.seven wheat varieties?Shannong 25,Qingmai 6,Taikemai 30,Qimin 9,Zimai 29,Yannong 1212,Jimai 22?and two maize?Zhengdan 958,Denghai 605?varieties were selected as experimental materials.Three types of irrigation were set in the experiment:no irrigation during the whole growth period of winter wheat,and irrigated summer corn with Mongolian water?W0?;irrigated winter wheat with Jointing water and Flowering water,and irrigated summer corn with Mongolian water?W1?;irrigated winter wheat with Wintering water,Returning green water,Jointing water and Flowering water were used throughout the whole growth period,and irrigated summer corn with Mongolian water?W2?.The main area was wheat variety+maize variety,and the secondary area was irrigation amount.The experimental results showed that:?1?The irrigation amount had a significant effect on the chlorophyll content of winter wheat but little on the chlorophyll content of summer maize.The net photosynthetic rate,stomatal conductance and transpiration rate of flag leaf of winter wheat could be increased significantly by increasing irrigation water,thus promoting the consumption of its intercellular CO2.?2?Irrigation can promote the dry matter accumulation of winter wheat and summer maize.Compared with W0,W1 and W2 had the fastest dry matter accumulation rate t flowering and filling stage of winter wheat,while that of summer maize was significant at filling and maturing stage.?3?Compared with W0,the average and maximum grain-filling rates of all varieties of winter wheat under W1 and W2 treatments were significantly increased,but the maximum grouting rate was delayed and the grouting stage was prolonged.?4?Irrigation can promote the increase of annual yield of winter wheat-summer maize.Compared with W0,the annual yield of winter wheat-summer maize under W1 treatment increased by 21.65%36.28%,and that under W2 treatment increased by 16.84%33.64%.Qingmai 6+Denghai 605,Taikemai 30+Denghai 605,Jimai 22+Zhengdan 958 had the highest annual yield in W2 treatment,while the rest groups had the highest annual yield in W1 treatment.From the perspective of single season crops,only Shannong 25 and Zimai 29had the highest yield under W1 treatment,while the other varieties of winter wheat had the highest yield under W2 treatment.The yields of Zhengdan 958 and Denghai 605 were both shown as:W1>W2>W0.?5?Irrigation amount has significant influence on annual WUE of winter wheat and summer maize.Compared with W0,W1 treatment increased annual WUE by-8.77%15.29%,and W2 reduced annual WUE by 7.98%23.42%.From the perspective of single-season crops,Shannong 25,Qingmai 6,Taikemai 30,Qimin 9 and Jimai 22 had the highest WUE under W1treatment,while Zimai 29 and Yannong 1212 had the highest WUE under W2 treatment.Denghai 605 and Zhengshan 958 had the highest WUE under W0 treatment.?6?Overall consideration of annual crop yield and WUE,irrigation of three waters?Jointing water 60 mm+Flowering water 60 mm+Mongolian water 60 mm?was the best irrigation of winter wheat-summer maize on the anniversary,and Shannong 25+Denghai 605was the best combination of winter wheat-summer maize varieties.
