As a special economic tree species,olive is the main raw material for important medical treatment,health care and cosmetics,and has important economic value.With the growth of olive trees,the number of borer pests increases,which has devastating consequences for the development of the olive industry.The olive trees that have been damaged by borer pests have weakened tree vigor,increased dead shoots and dead branches,and drastically reduced the output of olive trees,causing serious economic losses to enterprises and growers.There are few related researches on the olive worm dry pests.This study starts with the occurrence conditions,types and occurrence rules of the olive worm dry pests,and uses biological and chemical agents to control according to different insect states.The results are as follows:(1)The damage degree of the olive borer pests is closely related to the ecological climate of the planting base.When the annual sunshine hours exceed 1900 h,the annual precipitation is less than 900 mm,the relative humidity is less than 70%,and the damage degree of the surrounding vegetation is lighter;in the annual sunshine hours less than 1500 h,the annual precipitation is in the range of 900~1100 mm,the relative humidity is about 70%,and the surrounding vegetation rich area is more harmful.In more hazardous areas,intensive plantations suffer 20 per cent less than extensive and overgrown plantations.(2)In the olive plantations in Mianyang area,the borer pests are composed of four kinds of Coleoptera insects,such as Dyscerus cribripennis,Apriona germari,Anoplophora chinensis,Batocera horsfieldi.Dyscerus cribripennis account for 60% of the borer pests,is the main target for the prevention of borer pests.Dyscerus cribripennis has a relatively small body shape and a short life history,which occurs in 2 generations in 1 year in Mianyang area;Cerambycidae are larger in size,and has a long life history,which occurs in 1~2 years.generation.The larvae of the olive stem pests occur twice a year,from late March to mid-May,and from early September to late October;the adult activity period should be concentrated from late May to mid-August,and the entire generation overlaps the phenomenon.(3)The control of the Scleroderma guani on the Dyscerus cribripennis can reduce the larvae during the larval period by about 280%.The control of the branch can reduce the larval population by about 160% during the larval outbreak period.The prevention and treatment of Dastarcus helophoroides adults on the Dyscerus cribripennis such as the beetles and the Cerambycidae can reduce the population of larvae during the larval period by about 72% and 79%.The prevention and treatment of Dastarcus helophoroides eggs on the large beetle family such as the beetle family can reduce the larvae in the larval period of about 45%,and the control of the Cerambycidae can reduce the larvae in the larval period of about 57%.In the short term,the control effect of Scleroderma guani was the best,followed by the control effect of Dastarcus helophoroides adults.The control effect of Dastarcus helophoroides eggs was the worst among the three natural enemies.Due to the weak fertility of Scleroderma guani in Mianyang,the effect of long-term control is not as good as that of Dastarcus helophoroides.In the autumn test,the overall control effect of Dastarcus helophoroides was better than that of Scleroderma guani.(4)Three bionic pesticides are sprayed in the field for chemical control during the adult period of borer pests.The 400-fold solution of 8% cypermethrin microcapsule suspension has the best effect,and the adult mortality rate can reach 95.29%;The effect of the 40% thiacloprid microcapsule suspension was second,and the corrected mortality rate of adults was 94.94%;the corrected mortality rate of adult insects of 90% insecticide single wettable powder in 500 times solution was 88.58%.When using the emulsion cream coating method to control the adult insects,the control effect after mixing with diesel oil is better than that of using alone.Among them,the corrected mortality rate of 40% oxidized dimethoate emulsified oil and diesel oil is 91.45%.The adult mortality rate of adult amphiphos emulsifiable concentrate mixed with diesel oil was 93.99%.The chemical agent has better control effect on the adult pests of the dried beetles,such as the Dyscerus cribripennis of the olive,and has little effect on the larger dried pests.
