This article takes Wuchuan County's conversion of farmland to forest land as a research area,and takes different types of protection forests and forest soils planted on the conversion area as research objects.Through the combination of field experiments and indoor experiments,five different types of protection forest sample plots are selected.The wind protection effect of different types of protective forests in the abandoned farmland and different forest stands were used to study the soil improvement of the forest land.research shows:1.By studying the difference between the wind protection effects of the shelter forests in the abandoned farmland of Wuchuan County,the differences of the wind protection effects of the shelter forests in different forest types were studied.The prevention and control of shrubbery is mainly concentrated near the surface and the protection effect is good,which can stably control the wind speed between the belts;the prevention and control of the arbor forest is mainly concentrated in higher places and its protection distance is far,but the control effect of wind speed is poor,In addition,wind speed turbulence and other conditions are easily formed between the belts,which aggravates the surface wind erosion;the combination of arbor and shrub combines the advantages of shrubs and trees in the protection effect and protection distance.2.By analyzing the five different protective forests in the abandoned farmland of Wuchuan County,the soil structure and soil texture were significantly improved,but the improvement effect of each forest was different.In general,the mixed forest of Pinus tabulaeformis and Pinus tabulaeformis improved forest soil texture most.Good,Pinus tabulaeformis forest is next,Caragana and Hippophae rhamnoides forest are worse.Compared with the grassland control,the physical indexes in all forests are consistent.The soil bulk density is Caragana intermedia>Hippophae rhamnoides forest>Pinus sylvestris var.Mongolica forest>Pinus tabulaeformis forest>Caragana korshinskii mixed forest.Pinus tabulaeformis forest>Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica forest>Hippophae rhamnoides forest>Caragana intermedia forest,but with the deepening of the layer depth,all the properties present a certain regularity3.Comparing the grasslands with five different shelterbelts on the abandoned farmland,the soil texture and nutrient accumulation were significantly improved.Comprehensive analysis showed that Pinus tabulaeformis and Caragana intermedia mixed forest had the best soil nutrient accumulation,followed by Pinus tabulaeformis forest,followed by Caragana intermedia.
