Selenium(Se)is a trace element necessary for human and animal growth and development,and plays an important role in maintaining the health of the body such as reducing mortality,anti-oxidation,and anti-cancer.Selenium deficiency can cause white muscle disease in poultry,Keshan disease and Kashin-Beck disease in humans.Add two different selenium sources and compound selenium to semi-fermented cow manure for earthworm culture.Explore the effect of selenium on earthworms and earthworm manure.At the same time,it will enhance the effect of selenium-enriched earthworms,reduce the cost of selenium-enriched earthworm breeding,and realize the low-cost,high-efficiency,large-scale breeding of selenium-enriched earthworms and the resource utilization of cow manure.In the experiment,3900 adult "Taiping 2”earthworms were selected and randomly grouped,with 6 repetitions in each group and 50 earthworms in each repetition.The first experiment was to add 2 selenium sources(Sodium Selenite,Selenium-enriched Yeast)and 3 levels(5mg.kg-1,10mg.kg-1,15mg.kg-1)to the cow manure base material,based on selenium,Select the optimal amount of selenium rich from two selenium sources.In the second and third experiments,keep the added amount of selenium in each treatment at 10mg.kg-1,and set the CON(no exogenous selenium added)group,SS(Sodium Selenite)group,SY(Selenium-enriched Yeast)group,Mixed ?(SS:SY=1:1),Mixed ?(SS:SY=2:1),Mixed ?(SS:SY=4:1),the measurement indicators include:earthworm growth and reproduction,selenium content of earthworm body and earthworm feces.Heavy metal content,activity of lumbroid antioxidant enzymes,and content of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in earthworm feces.Adopt SPSS 17.0 to analyze the variance of the test data,the research results are as follows:1.With the increase in the amount of selenium in cow manure,the growth and reproduction of earthworms are gradually inhibited.The higher the selenium concentration,the higher the degree of inhibition of the growth and reproduction of earthworms.When the amount of selenium added in SY is 15mg.kg-1,the earthworms have Obvious poisoning phenomenon;the higher the selenium concentration,the higher the selenium content of the earthworm body,which is proportional to the two;adding the same level of SS and SY to cow manure,the selenium content of earthworms in S Y group was significantly higher than that in SS group.2.The amount of Se added to cow manure in each group was 10 mg.kg-1.The CON group had the highest daily weight gain multiples.Among the treatment groups with different Se sources added to cow manure,the highest daily multiplier for earthworms was the SS group;the daily multiplication of earthworms The highest multiple was in the CON group,and the highest multiplication rate of earthworms in the other treatment groups was the SS group;the Mixed I had the highest selenium content in the earthworm body,and the Se content in the earthworms in all treatment groups was significantly higher than that in the CON.3.The content of Cu,As and Cr in the CON group was significantly higher than that in the treatment group,and the content of Cd was significantly lower than that in the treatment group.The SOD activity of the Mixed ? and the Mixed ? was the highest,and the difference was very significant with other groups(P<0.01);the GSH-Px activity of the SY group and the Mixed ? was the highest,and the difference was very significant with the other groups(P<0.01);SY The PHGPx activity was the highest in the group,which was significantly different from the other groups(P<0.01).The Mixed ? earthworms and earthworm feces have better indicators than other treatments.They are suitable for selenium-enriched earthworm culture,which can not only reduce the cost of selenium-enriched but also improve the effect of selenium-enriched,and is suitable for further promotion of aquaculture.Conclusion:Adding 15mg.kg-1 selenium-enriched yeast to cow manure base material will inhibit the growth and reproduction of earthworms.Compared with the CON group,adding Se source to cow manure will slow down the growth and reproduction of earthworms;cow manure base Adding different levels and different Se sources can significantly increase the Se content of earthworms and earthworm feces,and increase the activity of earthworm antioxidant enzymes.Se and heavy metals in cow manure have an antagonistic effect and reduce the concentration of earthworms on heavy metals.;Adding selenium to cow manure base can improve the fertility of vermicompost.In summary,sodium selenite and selenium-enriched yeast with selenium addition levels of 5,10,and 15 mg/kg are the most suitable for the cultivation of selenium-enriched earthworms at a concentration of 10 mg/kg;the same selenium level is the most suitable for the cultivation of selenium-enriched earthworms The ratio is 1:1.Recommended for production practice.
