This study relies on the project "breeding forage and soybean crops to improve protein self-sufficiency in the EU and China",using 28 alfalfa(Medicago)germplasms from China and abroad as test materials,measured their forage yield,quality characteristics,adaptability and SSR molecular markers.The analysis aimed to comprehensive identification and evaluation of different alfalfa germplasm materials,to improve the breeding efficiency of legume crops,and to provide a basis or reference for the screening of excellent germplasm and the cultivation of new varieties.The results are as follows:(1)In terms of forage yield,the first cut was the highest,The annual forage yield of all material all above 10000kg/hm2.The study found that the varieties with high plant height,fast growth rate and large number of branches have higher yields.In general,the best performance evaluation variety was Caoyuan No.3.(2)The CP of the tested materials was above 16%,the highest variety is Longmu 803,up to 21.21%,the lowest was WL323;ADF was between 23.68%and 35.37%,of which Gongnong No.1 was the highest and Prairie No.2 The lowest:NDF was between 46.43%and 35.42%,the highest NDF was Aohan alfalfa,and the lowest was multi-leaf alfalfa;the EE content was between 1.05 and 2.50%,the Chabe alfalfa had the highest EE,Longdong alfalfa and middle alfalfa No.1 was the lowest;Ash was between 7.30%and 8.68%,the highest was Longmu 803,and the lowest was Zhongli No.1;the stem-to-leaf ratio is between 1.03 and 1.25,the highest is Yili alfalfa,and the lowest is Fufeng;Dry to fresh ratio was between 2.81 and 3.70,the highest was Aohan alfalfa and the lowest was Gongnong No.1.The RFV was between 160.25?120.36,the highest was Longmu 803,and the lowest was Gongnong No.1;overall,the characteristics of Longmu 803 indicated that its nutritional quality characteristics were best.(3)The tested alfalfa materials had a growth period of 77-79 days.The long-growing varieties included Caoyuan 3 and Zhongmu 2 and the short-growing varieties include Xinjiang Daye and Queen;each materials Can normally overwinter in Hohhot.the overwintering rate was over 75%,Caoyuan No.3 and Zhongmu No.2 was as high as 98%,and the overwintering rate of Sverige Sanditi is only 75%;Function value analysis of 7 indicators such as plant height,yield,nutrient composition,and the top 5 were Caoyuan No.3,Zhaodong,zhongmu 2,Longmu 803,Yili,all of which were planted in Hohhot The varieties with good production performance and high nutritional value;generally speaking,the strongest variety in adaptability evaluation is Caoyuan No.3.(4)A total of 103 alleles were detected from 28 alfalfa varieties with 10 pairs of SSR primers.The alleles were between 15 and 25.The average number of effective alleles amplified by each primer was 1.4526,and-the average value of genetic diversity It was 14.8856.All primers have PIC values greater than 0.5.The average Shannon information index was 0.3896.The genetic distance of 28 accessions is between 0.0600 and 0.5239,and the genetic consistency was between 0.5922 and 0.9417.Using Structure divided 28 alfalfa materials into 3 groups,the composition of the group was not completely consistent with the source and the breeding unit.The complexity of the results shows that the genetic diversity of alfalfa in the long-term evolution and selection process Sexual information is high and its genetic background is complex.
