The modern forest tree cultivation has developed in the direction of refinement and efficiency.Among the many factors that affect the forest conservation rate,water condition is one of the key factors.Timely and accurately judging the water shortage of living standing trees and formulating irrigation strategies based on the physiological water requirements of living standing trees are necessary conditions to ensure the efficient cultivation of forest trees.In this study,the stem moisture content was used as an irrigation decision index,combined with soil moisture content,and potted begonia trees were used as research objects.The research on irrigation strategies and control systems based on physiological water requirements of living standing trees was carried out.The main research contents,methods and conclusions of this article include:(1)The theoretical basis of irrigation based on the physiological water requirement of living standing trees was explored,combined with the physiological structure of the living standing stems and the water exchange mechanism in the stem tissues,based on previous studies,the indicators for starting irrigation based on the stem water content,Precision irrigation strategy based on soil moisture content as an indicator of stopping irrigation.(2)Based on the developed irrigation strategy,an automatic irrigation control system was designed.The hardware design part of the system completes the hardware design of the AD acquisition module,data storage module,RTC clock module,data transmission module and electromagnetic valve control module;the system software design part completes the writing of I2 C and SPI bus driver programs,as well as serial port programs and data Design of acquisition program,SD card storage program,valve control program and data transmission protocol.(3)Combining the designed irrigation system and irrigation strategy,irrigation experiments were carried out.The experiment used 5-year-old Crabapple as the research object.Through drought stress test,the stem moisture content was used as the research parameter and combined with the soil moisture content,there were five groups: treatment 1,treatment 2,treatment 3,treatment 4 and control group;The control group was irrigated daily;treatment 4 was not irrigated during the test period;treatment 1,treatment 2,and treatment 3 were irrigated on the 5th day(first stage)and 15 th day(second stage)of the test.The relationship between the change of stem water content and physiological water demand of Crabapple and the irrigation threshold suitable for Crabapple growth were explored.Taking the drought stress to the 5th day as the research node,it was proposed exploratoryly that the stem water content(43%)and stem water content decrease range(12%)of Crabapple were used as the starting irrigation index,and the soil water content(33%)was Irrigation control strategies for stopping irrigation indicators.The experimental results verify the feasibility of the irrigation strategy and the reliability of the system.
