With the continuous development of the Internet, since the GIS application and promotion in the1980 s,GIS technology has achieved rapid development and has been widely used in various industries. The current traditional two-dimensional visualization technology can no longer meet the needs of users, and the three-dimensional visualization technology has emerged as the times require and has gradually penetrated into all walks of life in life. This article attempts to apply 3D visualization technology to the information display of forestry ecological safety system. On the basis of discussing the definition of forestry ecological security, this paper builds a forestry ecological security index to measure and evaluate the forestry ecological security status of a certain area.Based on the PSR(Pressure-State-Response)model,comprehensive consideration of forest ecosystems and wetland ecosystems And the desert ecosystem, design the forestry ecological security index system, and complete the calculation of the forestry ecological security index combined with the entropy method. In order to evaluate and display the national forestry ecological security status from different scales, this paper developed a forestry ecological security index visualization display system based on the Cesium 3D sphere open source software. The main functions include: forestry ecological security index and various indicators visualization, aircraft cruise and two and three-dimensional Linkage module, video projection and large-scale 3D tile loading optimization. The research and development of the system can basically meet the needs of forestry ecological safety assessment.
