The borer is one of the main insect pests of rice.No resistant source has been found in rice. The HR1128 which is characterized by large panicle, more grains, high lodging resistance and high seed setting rate. The hybrid combinations bred with HR1128 as the male parent have the characteristics of high yield and strong lodging resistance. The insect-resistant restorer line mfb-MH86 of cry1 Ab gene provided by Fujian Academy of Agric?Ltural Sciences was used as donor to improve the insect resistance of HR1128.The characteristics and insect resistance of the improved line were analyzed.Matching experiments were carried out to lay a foundation for breeding parents and combinations of high-yielding insect-resistant transgenic rice.1.Three backcross lines,KR1128-1,KR1128-2 and KR1128-3,were screened and their resistance to borers was greatly improved.Molec?Lar detection and JIN BIAO strip test showed that the improved lines contained cry1 Ab,an insect-resistant gene with stable inheritance.Compared with HR1128,the improved restorer lines had no significant differences in plant height, grain number per spike and other agronomic traits, but the resistance of the Chilo suppressalis was significantly improved to achieve high resistance.ELISA showed that the content of anti-insect protein of the improved restorer line was higher in stem.2.Y58S's yields were stable, among which Y58S/KR1128-3 yielded the highest yield, increased by 7.49% compared with the non-GM combination and 18.84% compared with the conventional varieties. The statistical data showed that the seed setting rate of Bing1 A series was stable. The restorer lines of KR1128-3 showed more stable and high yield than the other two.3.There was no significant difference in quality traits between the improved lines and their combinations, indicating that Bt gene did not change the quality of rice. There were no significant changes in milling quality, appearance quality, gel consistency and amylose content between the new insect-resistant and non-transgenic combinations, which did not cause significant differences between combinations.
