| This paper through to 12 popcorn varieties were studied by random block experiment in the field,and their agronomic traits,resistance traits,and grain yield performance were investigated and analyzed.The following conclusions were drawn:“Jibao18,Shenbao15,Sidabao2,Shenbao12,Shenkebao6,Jibao10,Jibao6” are recommended to continue the trial or promote planting due to their excellent comprehensive performance.However,“Shenbao9,Jia35,Shenbao13,Sidabao4” are not suitable for planting in this area because of their relatively low yield,poor disease resistance in the field and lack of advantages.Among them,"Jibao18" was especially prominent: the highest yield,20.6% higher than the control,the lowest incidence rate of head smut,smut and spike rot in field,and the lodging resistance was strong,the burst rate and expansion multiple were high,and excellent comprehensive performance.Therefore,"Jibao18" was selected as the next experimental material.Through the analysis of the growth dynamic test of "Jibao 18" and the two-factor test of planting density and nitrogen fertilizer topdressing,the following conclusions were drawn: 1.The growth dynamics of “Jibao18”(1)The plant height increased slowly before 33 d,increased rapidly from 33 d to 57 d,and slowed down from 57 d to 78 d,and the plant height basically stops growing after 78 d.(2)The period of rapid accumulation of dry matter was 12-24 d after pollination,during which the content of crude starch and 100-grain weight raised rapidly.24-44 d after pollination was the seed development stage,during which the seeds can be partially exploded,and the seeds tend to mature with the increase of development days.After 44 d of pollination,the seeds reached maturity stage,during which the traits of the grains tended to be stable and basically remained unchanged.2.The two-factor experiment of planting density and nitrogen fertilizer topdressing rate of “Jibao18”(1)The plant height and ear height showed an increasing trend with the increase of density,which increased significantly at low density and increased less at high density.With the increase of nitrogen application,plant height and ear height first increased and then decreased.(2)With the increase of density,the harvest yield increased first and then decreased,and the length of the bald tip showed an increasing trend.Ear weight,ear length,ear diameter,100-grain weight,and row grain number all decreased with the increase of density;As the amount of topdressing nitrogen fertilizer increased,the yield components such as harvest yield,ear weight,ear length increased first and then decreased.(3)The yield of popcorn under the interaction of planting density and nitrogen topdressing is the highest under the condition of A4B3(4500 plants/mu,25kg/mu),which is significantly different from other treatment combinations. |
