According to the "Crop Variety Examination Specification-Maize",new waxy maize varieties were selected were planted experiments in Jilin Province recent years.Comprehensive evaluation of their field agronomic traits,growth period,disease resistance and lodging resistance traits were conducted.The following conclusions:"JGN1,JGN2,JGN5,JGN8,JGN9,JGN10,JGN14" have higher yield,stronger resistance,more suitable maturity,better comprehensive performance,more suitable for promotion and planting in production.And the advantages of "JGN3,JGN4,JGN11,JGN12" varieties are not outstanding or even reduced production,They are not suitable for planting in this area.In different status of planting densities and nitrogen fertilizer topdressing treatments,the variety of Jinnong Danuo 604 was affected most by the weight of a single panicle.However,the number of leaves,folding rate,double panicle rate,starch content and amylopectin content were all affected less.In the same status of planting density,the loose powder stage,spinning stage and maturity stage of Jinong Danuo 604 were affected in the different top dressing.Each growth period has a prolonged trend with the increase of nitrogen application level.In different planting densities(A),the grain yield of Jinong Danuo 604 showed the trend that was first increasing and then decreasing(A4>A5>A3>A2>A1).In “A4”,the maximum grain yield value was reached 12952.5 kg per unit area.In “A1”,the mean of lowest grain yield was 8361.0 kg per unit area.There is extremely significant difference between the density treatments.In different planting densities(B),the grain yield of Jinong Danuo 604 showed the trend that was first increasing and then decreasing(B3>B4>B2>B1>B).In “B3”,the maximum grain yield value was reached 11400.0kg per unit area.In “B5”,the lowest grain yield value was reached 10704.0 kg per unit area.The difference between B3 and B2,B1,B5 was extremely significant.In the status of different planting density,the suitable nitrogen fertilizer top dressing amount required is different according to interaction analysis.Among them,the “B4” was the most suitable nitrogen fertilizer topdressing level for A1,the “B3” was the most suitable nitrogen fertilizer topdressing level for A2,the “B3” the most suitable nitrogen fertilizer topdressing level for A3 and A4,and the “B4” was the most suitable nitrogen fertilizer top dressing level is B4.It showed significantly or positively correlated between the grain yield of processed glutinous maize of Jinong danuo 604,shaft thickness,empty stem rate,and bald tip length,and it showed extremely significantly negatively correlated with double panicle rate.According to growth and development research of Jinong Danuo 604 variety,the plant height grown fastest and linearly in 39-60 days after emergence,the grain filling rate was fastest in 15-23 days and the mean of daily growth for 100 kernel weight was larger.The rate of grain starch synthesized was faster in the early stages of pollination,especially the average of daily increase in starch content was larger before the 17 th day.And it gradually slows down after pollination.
