Study On The Management Benefit Of Yuxi Kumquat Under Three Different Cultivation Models

Kumquat,as a traditional specialty fruit in China.has been cultivated for more than 1700 years,The fruit can be eaten fresh or processed,and the fruit and leaf have both ornamental value and great economic benefits.Youxi,Sanming County,Fujian Province,is rich in geography,climate,soil and other resources,with,superior environment.As one of the main producing areas of Kumquat in China,its products enjoy a good reputation in the domestic and foreign markets.,In this study.Youxi kumquat was taken as the research object.Through consulting the archives of Kumquat in Youxi County,investigating several locakl kumquat cultivation cooperatives,visiting maany local kumquat cultivation big families,and making statistics of the labor cost and data cost required by the traditional open field cultivation model.fitcovered cultivation model and greenhouse cultivation model of kumquat,the quality indexes of kumquat fruit were compared and analyzed,and the benefits of three kinds of cultivation models were summarized.It aims to break through the cultivation bottleneck of Youxi kumquat,improve the green and pollution-free cultivation system,promote the transformation of Youxi kumquat industry,improve the quality and output of Youxi kumquat,promote the income of fuit farmers,optimize the industry of Youxi kumquat improve the seedling market of Youxi kumquat,and real ize the sustainable agricultural model of high yield,high efficiency and high,quality of Youxi kumquat Drive the development of other mdustries and promote the comprehensive development of social economy in Youxi.The main findings were:(1)There are three cultivation models of Kumquat in Youxi:open cultivation film covered cultivation and greenhouse cultivation.The main cultivation techniques include seedling cultivation,garden selection,crown management,water and fertilizer management,flower and fruit conservation(thinning),pruning and regeneration,and pest control,The main problems in the cultivation process of Youxi kumquat are:lack of long-term industrial planning,rising labor cost,strengthening supporting facilities,backward cultivation technology,inadequate park management,weak infrastructure,market to be explored business type to be expanded,brand to be broken through.(2)Based on the statistics of the cost of pesticide,fertilizer,labor and so on,the effects of rain damage,freezing damage and drought damage on the yield of Kumquat were analyzed,and the effects of different cultivation models on the output value were summarized,and other additional b enefits that maybe brought by different cultivation models were studied.It is concluded that although the input cost of greenhouse cultivation mofel is higher than the other two cultivation models.the greenlhouse cultivation has obvioius advantages in preventing rain and freezing injury,ensuring high and stable yield,realizing fresh-keeping on trees,staggered peak listing,and effectively avoiding price war;standardized constmction can be used to improve the quality and sales price of kumqulat,so as to increase the output value of Kimiquat;the development of Kumquat can also be explored Citrus culture tourism.increase additional econonic benefits.On the whole,it will be more beneficial to the development of Youxi kumquat industry to adopt greenhouse cultivation.(3)This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the cultivation model of Kumquat in greenhouse,such as high construction cost,insuffcient understanding of ffruit fanners,poor geographical conditions,limited comprehensive promotiom,low management level and difficult to breakthrough in efficiency,and puts forward the Promotion Countermeasures of strengthening propaganda and guidance,strengthening policy support and strengthening fruit famer training.(4)The suggestions for promoting the healthy development of Youxi kumquat industry are:adjusting and optimizing cultivation structure and industrial layout,establishing and standardizing cultivation management and qual ity assurance,planning and promoting brand publicity and marketing.
