Construction Of Biosecurity Epidemic Prevention System And Purification Of Pseudorabies In Pig Farms

The biosecurity of pig farm means to control the spread of harmful pathogens or other biomass and prevent its harm to pigs by implementing good biosafety management measures.Establishing a sound biosafety system is the fundamental guarantee for achieving healthy farming and maximizing the benefits of large-scale farms.Based on the investigation of Huangyang Pig Breeding Professional Cooperative in Jiaocheng District,Ningde City,this study finds that the production efficiency of the farm has been low since it was put into operation in 2013,which was affected by market price shocks on the one hand and low production capacity on the other.According to statistics,the sow breeding rate of the pig farm is 82.3%,the annual parity is 2.05,the number of healthy piglets per sow is 10.8,the rate of dead birth is 7.23%,the incidence rate of piglets is 24.3%,the mortality of piglets is 12.8%,the morbidity rate of nursery pigs is 18.4%,the mortality of nursery pigs is 8.7%,and the number of large pigs per sow per year is 16.56.Taking the pig farm biosecurity as the starting point,this paper analyzes the problems in the field of disease prevention and control,such as the site's unreasonable layout,insufficient technical force,poor environmental conditions,poor facilities and equipment,unreasonable vaccine immunization procedures,immunization effects,and poor biosafety management,etc.A series of specific biosafety measures were proposed.The construction of the site's biosafety system was improved step by step from the adjustment of the planning layout of the site,the renovation of infrastructure,the supplement of technical forces,and the establishment of a strict and effective pig farm management system.After the transformation and upgrading,the layout of the pig farm is more standardized and reasonable,the construction of pig houses is more scientific and practical,the equipment and facilities are more complete,the live pig trading is more standardized,the disinfection management is stricter,the social and ecological benefits of manure resource utilization are obvious,and the production index have been improved.On the basis of improving the construction of the biosafety system of the farm,GE gene deletion vaccine of imported porcine pseudorabies was used to immunize the herd,the ELISA detection method was used to eliminate the g E antibody-positive pigs,and the purification of pseudorabies(PR)was carried out in the farm.After carrying out biosafety measures and the purification of pseudorabies,the breeding rate of sows in this farm increased by 4.9%,the litter rate per year increased by 0.16,the number of healthy litters per sow increased by 2.31,the rate of dead births decreased by 3.53%,the incidence of piglets decreased by 12.2%,the piglets' mortality decreased by 7.6%,the incidence of nursery pigs decreased by 5.2%,the mortality of nursery pigs decreased by 5.56%,and the number of pigs per sow per year increased by 3.56.After PR purification,the cost of medicine for each pig was reduced by 9 yuan.In addition,the farm has re-acquired the "Animal Epidemic Prevention Qualification Certificate" and "Livestock Production License",obtained 300,000 yuan of subsidy funds for the standardization and transformation project of livestock and poultry farms,and 199,500 yuan for the promotion project of the utilization of livestock and poultry manure resources in the whole area.From 2018 to March2020,about 6000 pigs were put on the market,with an economic benefit of 18 million yuan.A series of biosafety measures have been adopted in this pig farm,which effectively standardized the production management system of the pig farm and improved the construction of the epidemic prevention and control system of the pig farm,increased the economic and social ecological benefits.It can provide reference for other pig farms' disease control and biosafety management.
