Research On Domestic Competitiveness Of Mutton Sheep Industryin Inner Mogolia

As the traditional superior industry of animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia autonomous region,the mutton sheep industry not only plays an important role in the economic income of the local rural pastoral areas,but also is an important guarantee for the meat supply in China.In recent years,the mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia is facing the challenge of foreign lamb's impact and consumers' concern about food safety.Meanwhile,it is also facing new opportunities under the policy of "changing grain to feeding".Therefore,it is of great practical and theoretical significance to study the competitiveness of mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia.Based on combing the competitiveness on the basis of relevant theories and the present situation of mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia,this paper makes use of the "diamond model" to clarify in Inner Mongolia,mutton sheep industry competitiveness level status,and according to the "diamond model" the four basic factors to build competitiveness evaluation system,through the principal component analysis and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region between the provincial level of mutton sheep industry competitiveness in empirical research.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)from a comprehensive perspective,the mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia ranks the second among provinces and regions,and the first in the competitiveness of factors of production and related supporting industries,but the competitiveness of demand conditions,industry strategy,structure andcompetitors is not outstanding.(2)in the comprehensive competitiveness of mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia autonomous region,chifeng city,hulun buir city,xilin gol league,bayannur city ranked top.(3)the influence of advanced production factors and the strength of competitors on the inter-provincial competitiveness level is relatively large.Compared with the production factors in the inter-provincial competitiveness level,the demand condition factors need to be further improved.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the competitiveness of mutton sheep industry in Inner Mongolia from the aspects of scale breeding,factor input,circulation mode and related industries,in order to open up ideas for practitioners in the mutton sheep industry and provide some references for follow-up researchers.
