Construction And Application Of Economic Benefit Evaluation Model For Terraced Tourism

The long-established Chinese agricultural civilization is the traditional foundation of Chinese civilization.As a typical representative of traditional agricultural culture,terraces combine agriculture,environment and culture to form a unique terraced cultural landscape.This landscape reflects the rural tourism and leisure agriculture forms,meets the requirements of tourism consumption upgrading and increasingly diversified market demand.Driven by terrace tourism,the agricultural civilization has been inherited and protected,and the rural economy has achieved more comprehensive development.The people of western Fujian province are composed of the Han nationality and several ethnic minorities,who have created magnificent terraces and formed a unique terraced culture.Among them,Yaoli Village is composed of the Yao nationality,She nationality and Han nationality.The stone-built ancient terraced fields in the village have lasted for nearly 500 years,and have precipitated terraced rice culture and folk culture,which gradually became the core of tourism development.In order to objectively analyze the economic benefits of the terraced tourism in Yaoli Village,according to the professional knowledge and domestic and foreign literature,with a large number of field investigations,the paper comprehensively uses the literature method,sampling survey method,quantitative and qualitative analysis methods,etc.to construct and analyze the evaluation model of tourism economic benefits of Yaoli terrace,so as to clarify the sustainable development path of terraced tourism.The paper mainly discusses the economic benefits of terraced tourism from three aspects: Firstly,based on the development of terraced tourism at home and abroad,combined with relevant research theories and practices at home and abroad,the paper reviews the development of terraced tourism in the past 20 years and summarizes the characteristics of them,which have laid a theoretical foundation for this study.Secondly,taking Yaoli terraces as an example,the paper expounds the development of terraced tourism,determines the indicators and models of assessment,and uses the model to analyze the economic benefits of tourism in Yaoli terraces,which provides practical basis for the article;Finally,according to the evaluation results of tourism economic benefits of Yaoli terraces,the paper further analyzes the problems existing in the tourism development of Yaoli terraces,proposes corresponding path choices for the development of local terraced tourism economy.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Tourism is an important industry in Yaoli Village.The number of households participating in terraced tourism is relatively large,but the scale is small,and the overall income is low.(2)The economic benefits of terraced tourism are mainly reflected in “catering,accommodation,travel,shopping and entertainment”.Among the six major tourism factors,the most important economic benefits come from the direct benefits of catering and the indirect benefits of shopping.(3)The most distinctive tourism attractions are stone-built ancient terraces and agritainment cuisine,but the crops of stone-built ancient terraces are hard to unify.(4)It is concluded that the Yaoli area should take the sustainable development path which centered on terraced tourism.While vigorously developing terraced tourism,it is necessary to dig deep into the national characteristic culture and terrace culture for developing cultural tourism;encouraging and supporting some of the initial catering enterprises,actively investigating ethnic specialties,upgrading their level,expanding their scale;strengthening the industrial layout and infrastructure construction of ethnic villages and terraced tourism areas,improving tourism accessibility and sustainability;expanding the tourism industry chain and creating more tourism benefits..
