| Forest resources are of vital importance to human survival and an important part of the earth’s ecological system,with strong economic,cultural and ecological functions.Rational utilization of forest resources has guiding significance to the maintenance and improvement of human ecological environment.Scientific and rational forest management planning for different regional scales is of great practical significance to improve forest quality and promote sustainable forest management.This paper studies the forest management regionalization of Fumian district of Yulin city,analyzes the current status and characteristics of forest resources in the latest stage of Fumian district,puts forward relevant management problems and shortcomings,and clarifies the main content and utilization direction of forest management regionalization in this region.The main area and forest function regionalization of Fumian district are carried out by GIS and cluster analysis method.The main research results are as follows:(1)The forest area of Fumian district is 48224.68 hm~2,with a forest coverage rate of 54.29%.However,the existing forest data show that the proportion of ecological public forests is small,accounting for only6.67%,while the proportion of commercial forests is too large,which is unbalanced and easy to cause the contradiction between economic development and ecological environmental protection.In Fumian area,the plantation species are single,and the main afforestation species are fast-growing eucalyptus,especially the recent fast-growing eucalyptus is developing too fast,and the proportion of economic forest is large(27.16%).Woodlands are distributed unevenly,forest of timber,economy is dispersive in each town.(2)Combined with forestry and other factors in Fumian district,based on the established index system(including development intensity,ecological protection,population density,etc.),the development status,development potential and bearing capacity of each township are targeted.Cluster analysis method is used to locate the main function zones at the township level in Fumian district,which is divided into two types:key development zone and restricted development zone.According to the actual situation of Fumian district,the main functions of different areas are positioned to serve as the main basis for the operation and management of Fumian district and promote the common development of economy and ecology of Fumian district.(3)Under the condition of fully following the principle of forest functional zoning,five indexes such as water conservation function,soil and water conservation ecological function,wood production importance,forest tourism function and forest product production and processing importance are selected to construct the forest functional zoning index system in line with the forest resource status in Fumian district.Using k-means cluster analysis method,the functional areas were divided into five different functional areas,namely water conservation functional area in the west,soil and water conservation ecological functional area in the west and southwest,forest eco-tourism functional area in the northwest,timber forest functional area in the south and north,and economic forest functional area in the middle.(4)Based on the results of main function zoning and forest function zoning,combining with the current situation of forest management in Fumian district,reasonable planning and Suggestions are put forward for forest management in Fumian district.The aim is to carry out multi-function and multi-benefit management of forests in this area,improve forest quality,rationally develop forest intensity,combine different functions or benefit management,improve forest productivity and improve forest ecosystem quality,and realize sustainable forest management. |
