As one of the ecological and environmental problems, soil erosion is a problem that is widely concerned by the academic community. With the development of RS and geographic information system technology, soil erosion investigation and monitoring based on this has been more and more widely used. The central Yunnan region of Yunnan Province is located in the eastern Yunnan plateau region in the western Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The overall terrain is gentle and undulating, and it concentrates nearly half of the mountainous flat land in the province. It has rich soil resources and good water resources,so its water and soil ecological problems have been extensive attention. In recent years, due to economic and policy reasons, the social development in central Yunnan has been rapid, the land demand has been increasing, and the contradiction between man and land has become increasingly prominent. The proposal and implementation of the low hill and gentle slope development and construction project can alleviate the contradiction between man and land to a certain extent. However, the status of soil erosion is related to regional ecological health and even economic development. Therefore, understanding the status and changes of soil erosion before and after construction is of great significance to regional soil erosion management and ecological environmental protection. In response to the above problems, this study takes 62 low-hill and gentle-slope project areas in central Yunnan as an empirical study object, and uses the basic map data, remote sensing image data, and meteorological data of the project area as the basis.),Using ArcGIS 10.2 and ENVI5.3 software as the data processing platform, combining land use characteristics and soil erosion influencing factors in low-hill and gentle-slope areas, selecting appropriate improved calculation methods for each factor, and revising the data in accordance with the actual development of the research area To quantitatively evaluate the soil erosion status and changes of low hill and gentle slope project areas in central Yunnan before development(2010)and after development(2018),and discuss the landforms that directly affect development and the factors of land use types and soil erosion.Coupling relationship. The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The total soil erosion in 62 project areas in 2010 and 2018 were 611289.77t and 466641.44t,and the average annual soil erosion modulus was 1977.71 t/km~2·a and 1505.57t/km~2·a.The classification is mild erosion. After the development and construction, the overall annual erosion modulus of the project area is reduced. The soil and water conservation measures adopted in the development and construction have played a positive role in mitigating soil erosion.(2)The degree of soil erosion in 82%of the project area has improved. The overall area of the project area has a reduced area of 67.07 km~2,which has reduced the level of soil erosion to a lower level of erosion, which is larger than the area of the land where soil erosion has deteriorated(31.8 km~2).The area of soil erosion turned into slight erosion, reducing the risk of soil erosion.(3)The area where soil erosion occurred in the project area is mainly distributed in the slope area of 8-25°.Considering that human activities in the study area are mostly concentrated in the land within this slope range,in addition to considering natural factors in the soil erosion control, the influence of human factors must be valued. In addition, soil erosion is more sensitive to slope factors.(4)Different types of land have different ability to maintain soil and water. The area of soil and water loss in areas covered by low vegetation such as grassland and shrubs is relatively large. The proportion of soil and water loss in the two types of land accounts for 76.23%of the total area.In addition, the soil and water conservation capacity of slope farmland is relatively weak, and it is more prone to erosion. Therefore, reasonable land use development can play a better role in mitigating soil erosion.
