As one of the main economic crops in China,cotton is not only related to the income of farmers in the main cotton producing areas,but also related to the development of local textile industry and local economy.Under the background of reduced cotton planting area and low yield in China,rational utilization of existing cotton planting area and improvement of mechanized production efficiency of cotton are the main trends in China's development.Combining with the characteristics of cotton planting in the south,this paper selects a ridge and three rows of planting methods to plant cotton.During the cotton planting process,it is found that the cotton planting season encounters heavy rainfall,soil drainage is not timely,water accumulation is easy,and the problem of seed germination is affected.On the basis of the existing multi-functional planter,the focus is on in-depth study of the ditch ridger,and the method of ditching the soil and the intermediate soil at the same time is proposed to accelerate soil drainage and increase the germination rate of cotton seeds.The relevant experimental research was carried out with clay as the test object,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)By testing the germination rate of cotton seeds in different soil moisture content,it is concluded that the soil moisture content is suitable for cotton germination in 20%-30%,and the soil moisture content range of cotton seed germination provides a reference for the effect of field trenching test.(2)The soil bulk density of 0-200 mm depth is obtained by testing the soil physical properties of clay.It is concluded that as the soil depth deepens,soil bulk density increases,soil water permeability and gas permeability decrease.The soil hydraulic conductivity is reduced and the soil percolation rate is slowed down.The soil saturated water content is tested.It is concluded that the soil water content is saturated with soil moisture content when the soil moisture content is 41%-43%,and the soil moisture content exceeds the soil saturated water content,indicating Soil water accumulation,soil saturated water content can be used as an indicator of soil water accumulation.(3)Design the structure of the side opener and the intermediate opener.The main structural parameters of the opener are designed to be 25°,the angle of the shovel is 30°,and the width of the plough is wide.It is 100 mm,the wing angle is 60°,the wing length is500 mm,and the height of the trenching ridge device is 260 mm.The main parameters of the intermediate opener are designed to have a width of 80 mm.(4)The single-factor test of the ditch depth of the side row shows that the ditch depth is the best in the field of 150 mm,and the ditch depth is 150 mm and the intermediate opener is used for synchronous ditching test to obtain the intermediate ditch depth.Synchronous trenching is best at 60 mm,and a 60 mm trench depth provides better soil protection.Compared with the unditched test,the side ditch test,the drainage effect of the soil in the synchronous ditch test and the seed germination rate,the soil drainage effect is not low,the seed does not germinate,and the ditch operation can speed up the side line.The rate of soil drainage,but the intermediate soil drainage rate is slow,and the seed germination rate is effectively improved.Simultaneous trenching can simultaneously improve the drainage efficiency of the intermediate soil and the side soil,and the seed germination rate is the highest.
