Since ancient times, lawn has always been people's green health. In recent years, with the increasing progress of social economy and culture, people's demand and attention to lawn has also begun to increase gradually.Lawn industry in China is entering a period of rapid development, and has good prospects.Modern lawn is widely used in gardens, highways, railways, airports and other fields. And turf has got deeply attention because it can be used for keeping ecological balance, prettifying environmental condition, and promoting the social economy and sports. It is a very critical problem for the serious scarcity of water resources all over the world, but turf establishment and maintenance will deplete much water to maintain turf quality and function, which forms the contradiction with the deficit of water resource supply. Also, more fertilizers will be applied to maintain turf quality and function, but improper fertilization in turf establishment and maintenance will lead to some serious environmental poblems. In this article, with the view of the serious shortage of water resources, the growing area of lawn and the serious environmental pollution, the inflences of osmotic stress and phosphorus on nutrient uptakes of Kentucky bluegrass under greenhouse hydroponics were studied by selecting drought-resistant variety Midnight and non-drought-resistant variety Brilliant. In this experiment, phosphorus content of shoot and root, phosphorus uptake of shoot and root, total phosphorus uptake of plant were increased with increase of phosphorus addition.Phosphorus content of shoot and that of root of medium-term treatment were increased, and phosphorus uptake of shoot and total phosphorus uptake of plants of evening treatment were reduced with increase of osmotic stress. The effect of osmotic stress on phosphorus uptake of root was less.Nitrogen content of shoot and root, nitrogen uptake of shoot and root, total nitrogen uptake of plant were increased with increase of phosphorus addition.Nitrogen content of shoot of low phosphorus treatment, and that of Midnight root and Brilliant root treated with low phosphorus were increased, and nitrogen uptake of shoot and root, and total nitrogen uptake of plants were reduced with increase of osmotic stress. The effect of osmotic stress on phosphorus uptake of root was less.Potassium content of shoot and root, potassium uptake of shoot and root, total potassium uptake of plant were increased with increase of phosphorus addition.Potassium content of shoot of evening treatment, and potassium uptake of Brilliant root, and total potassium uptake of plants were reduced, and potassium uptake of shoot, potassium content of Midnight root were increased with increase of osmotic stress.Ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium of root to shoot was reduced with increase of phosphorus addition, and were increased with increase of osmotic stress.
