Using Kentucky bluegrass plants with foreign betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase-choline monooxygenase gene (BADH-CMO), choline monooxygenase gene (CMO) those were got by gene gun transformation method as material, several kinds of stress experiments were carried out and some high adverse resistance plants were obtained at last. Those works provide theoretical evidence and plant materials for breeding the new Kentucky bluegrass varieties. First, at single factor stress, such as low temperature, high temperature, drought stress, plasma membrane permeability, Chlorophyll content, leaf relative water content (RWC), proline content, soluble sugar content and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were measured, The results showed that the contents of proline and soluble sugar changed very much under low temperature, high temperature and drought, and was changed higher significantly (P<0.05), the contents of proline and soluble sugar of transgenic plants increased higher than the control (P<0.05); The contents of MDA under high temperature and drought increased significantly (P<0.05), and the control increased higher than the transgenic plants, the accumulation of control was 1.5-2 times of transgenic plants; RWC under drought reduced significantly, and the non-transgenic plants reduced higher than transgenic plants (P<0.05). In a word, the resistance of transgenic plants are better than the control. In order to closer to reality, the physiological indexes of the plants at two-factor stress including low temperature and drought, high temperature and drought, high temperature and humidity were measured. The results showed that, the transgenic plants have higher resistance than that of the control under low temperature and drought two-factor stress (P<0.05), the sensitivity of the plant for low temperature and drought two-factor stress was higher than single low temperature stress, and lower than single drought stress; Transgenic plants have higher resistance than that of the control under high temperature and drought two-factor stress (P<0.05), and two-factor stress damage to plant than single stress; Plants performed well in the pre-stress of high temperature and humidity stress, but with the extension of stress duration, plants gradually affected, non-transgenic plants were more sensitive to the high temperature and humidity stress and infected in the late test, transgenic plants has better resistance to high temperature and humidity stress. In a word, transgenic plants have higher resistance than that of the control under two-factor stress.
