The Clinical Effect Of The Desensitization Ended Sneeze Soup On Allergic Rhinitis

Objective To observe the clinical effect of the desensitization ended sneeze soup on allergic rhinitis caused by deficiency and coldness of lung and spleen,and to evaluate the changes of the quality of life before and after treatment by using homemaded quality of life scale,so as to confirm the validity and reliability of the desensitization ended sneeze soup for treating with allergic rhinitis caused by deficiency and coldness of lung and spleen.Methods ① We develop the allergic rhinitis quality of Life Scale(ARQLQ)according to "the diagnosis and treatment guide of allergic rhinitis"(2009,Wuyishan)which formulated by ENT Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and combined with the characteristics of TCM syndrome,traditional Chinese medicine clinicalwork experience,short form health survey questionnaire(SF-36),as well as the rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire(RQLQ).②50 patients with allergic rhinitis were evaluated using ARQLQ before and after four weeks treatment,respectively.③The datas were analyzed by SPSS 17.0,and the results were compared between each two groups by using student t test.P<0.05 were considered to be statistically significant.Results ①The total efficiency of desensitization ended sneeze soup group is 71.4%,whereas the total effective rate of Nasonex Nasal Spray is 67.6%,the differences of both were unsignificant(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in nasal congestion,nasal itching,runny nose,sneezing and signs aspects(all of P were P>0.05).②Compared with before treatment,the own symptoms,psychological impact,mental status,social communication,and environmental impact dimensions were changed greatly after treatment with chinese medicine for four weeks,all P values were P<0.05,the differences were statistically significant.It is indicated that the various dimensions of quality of life in patients with significantly reduced compared with before treatment.③Compared with before treatment,the own symptoms,psychological impact,mental status,social communication,and environmental impact dimensions were changed greatly after treatment with western medicine group for four weeks,all P values were P<0.05,the differences were statistically significant.It is indicated that the various dimensions of quality of life in patients with significantly reduced compared with before treatment.④There have no significant differences between chinese medicine group and western medicine group for treatment with allergic rhinitis caused by deficiency and coldness of lung and spleen.The therapeutic effect of Chinese medicine for the treatment of allergic rhinitis is ideal.Conclusion It is feasible using ARQLQ to evaluate the efficacy of desensitization ended sneeze soup,its internal consistency,content validity were great.The clinical efficacy of desensitization ended sneeze soup for treating with allergic rhinitis caused by deficiency and coldness of lung and spleen is exactly ideal,it is worthy for further studying.
