Objective:The purpose of this study was to design a randomized controlled trial to explore the effect of resistance exercise with elastic band as the carrier on improving insulin,IGF-1,IGFBP-3,blood glucose and blood lipid of breast cancer patients,so as to provide theoretical and experimental basis for clinical rehabilitation of breast cancer patients.Methods:The study used the methods of literature,experiment and mathematical statistics.The recruited 24 breast cancer patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,12 in each group.Breast cancer patients in the experimental group were intervened with elastic band resistance exercise for 8 weeks,and the action contents were standing forward flat,hip abduction,standing arm bending,sitting knee lifting,sitting chest pushing and standing side flat.In the first week,the patients were required to bare-handed exercise twice a week,two sets/time.From the second week to the fourth week,the patients were required to carry out elastic band resistance exercise twice a week,two sets/time.From the fifth week to the eighth week,the patients were required to use elastic band to complete resistance exercise three times a week,three sets/time.In addition,the whole training program required patients to repeat 8-12 times for each movement.The control group maintained the routine treatment during the study.The upper limb circumference of breast cancer patients were measured before and after the intervention.Meanwhile,insulin,IGF-1,IGFBP-3,blood glucose and blood lipid were measured before and after intervention to evaluate the intervention effectiveness.Finally,Excel and SPSS software were used to sort out and analyze the data.Results:1.Insulin: Before and after intervention,there was no statistically significant differences in insulin of patients in the experimental group(P>0.05).Furthermore,no significant differences in the control group(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in insulin level between the experimental group and the elastic band resistance exercise intervention(P>0.05),but the insulin level of the experimental group showed a downward trend.2.IGF-1: There was no statistical difference in the IGF-1 level of the experimental group before and after the intervention(P> 0.05),and the IGF-1 level of the control group before and after the intervention was not statistically different(P>0.05).After the intervention of elastic band resistance exercise,there was no significant difference in GF-1 level between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).3.IGFBP-3: The level of IGFBP-3 in the experimental group before and after the intervention showed a rising trend,and there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.01).Control levels of IGFBP-3 before and after the intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05);after intervention,the level of IGFBP-3 in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.01).4.Blood glucose:Before and after intervention,there was no statistically significant differences in blood glucose of patients in the experimental group(P>0.05).Furthermore,no significant differences in the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in blood glucose levels between two groups after the elastic band resistance exercise(P>0.05).5.Blood lipid:(1)Total cholesterol: In the the experimental group,after the intervention,the total cholesterol levels downturn,and there was a statistically significant difference in total cholesterol level(P<0.01).There was no statistical difference in the total cholesterol level of the control group before and after the intervention(P>0.05).After elastic band resistance exercise,the total cholesterol level in the experimental group was relatively lower than that in the control group,and there was also a significant difference in statistics(P<0.05).(2)Triglycerides: The triglyceride level of the experimental group before and after the intervention showed a downward trend,and there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.01).Intervention no significant change in the triglyceride levels in the control group before and after the intervention,and there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).The triglyceride concentration was lower in the test group after the elastic band resistance exercise intervention than in the control group,and there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.05).(3)High-density lipoprotein: There was no significant difference in the level of HDL in the experimental group before and after the intervention(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference in the level of HDL in the control group before and after the intervention(P>0.05).The HDL level of the experimental group was compared with the control group,HDL levels of the experimental groups is higher,there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.05).(4)Low-density lipoprotein: There was no statistical difference in the level of low-density lipoprotein in the experimental group before and after the intervention(P>0.05),and the level of low-density lipoprotein in the control group has a significant statistical difference(P<0.05).The Low-density lipoprotein levels in the experimental group no statistical difference after elastic band resistance exercise(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The 8-week elastic band resistance exercise is not only safe,but also can improve the levels of IGFBP3,total cholesterol,triglycerides,and high-density lipoprotein in breast cancer patients..2.The 8-week elastic band resistance exercise has no significant effect on the levels of insulin,IGF-1,blood glucose and low-density lipoprotein in breast cancer patients,and it still needs to be further improved and proven in future studies.
