Clinical Observation Of Using Dao Tan Decoction Combined With Tong Qiao Huo Xue Decoction To Treat Hypertension Due To Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the curative effect and the antihypertensive effect of the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of phlegm-blood stasis hypertension treated by Daotan Decoctio and Decoction for ActivatingBlood Circulation.METHODS:40 outpatients who were in accordance with the standard were given the treatment treated by Daotan Decoctio and Decoction for ActivatingBlood Circulation on the basis of not changing the original antihypertensive drugs,and no other Western antihypertensive drugs and anti vertigo drugs were taken during the observation period.The drugs were all from the decoction room of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine.The drugs were made up of Poria cocos 15g,Rhizoma Chuanxiong 15g,Pinellia ternata 15g,Rhizoma Arisaematis 10g,Fructus Aurantii Immaturus 10g,Dried tangerine peel 10g,Peach Kernel 10g,Flos Carthami 10g,Paeoniae Radix lOg and Licorice 10g.1 doses/day,decoction to 300ml,150ml/times,and two times daily.1 courses contains 4-week treatment.At fourth weeks after taking medicine,the effect of blood pressure and the curative effect of TCM syndrome were determined,and the data were recorded and statistically analyzed.Results:1.Comparison of the curative effect of TCM syndrome before and after treatment:The results showed that compared with before,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome was 82.50%,the single and total score of TCM syndrome were decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of the effect of blood pressure before and after treatment;The test results were compared with that before treatment.Both the systolic and diastolic pressure of the patients decreased after treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),of which 7 were markedly effective,22 were effective,11 were invalid.The total effective rate was 72.50%,and the difference was statistically significant after examination(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.the Daotan decoctio and decoction for activating blood circulation can effectively improve the TCM Syndromes of patients with phlegm-blood stasis hypertension.2.the Daotan decoctio and decoction for activating blood circulation can effectively lower blood pressure of patients with phlegm-blood stasis hypertension.
