Keritherapy And Clinical Observation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of wax therapy combined with Chinese herbal fumigation in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis through clinical observation.Methods:according to the diagnostic criteria of osteoarthritis and grade I-III in Kellgren Lawrence classification,90 patients with orthopedics in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to August 2017 were selected.The patients were divided into two groups,45 cases of treatment group and 45 cases in control group.The treatment group was treated with wax therapy combined with fumigation therapy of Chinese medicine for knee osteoarthritis,while the control group was treated with Chinese medicine iontophoresis and Chinese herbal fumigation therapy.The above two groups were treated once a day for 2 weeks.The clinical symptoms and physiological functions of each group were evaluated by visual analogue pain score(VAS),Xi'an Da Ho and the bone arthritis index(WOMAC)of McMaster University.Results:after a course of treatment(two weeks),the VAS score and WOMAC score of the treatment group were all lower than those of the control group.After the treatment,the scores of knee pain,stiffness and function in the WOMAC score of the patients in the treatment group were all better than those of the control group(all P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 97.8%,while that of the control group was 71.1%.Conclusion:1.wax therapy with Chinese medicine fumigation and Chinese medicine iontophoresis with Chinese medicine fumigation treatment of knee osteoarthritis all have therapeutic effect.2.wax therapy is superior to Chinese medicine iontophoresis.3.wax therapy combined with fumigation of Chinese medicine in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can be used as an option in clinical treatment.
