Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis By Intra-articular Mucous Therapy Combined With Chinese Medicine Fumigation And Washing

Objective: Knee osteoarthritis is a common and frequently occurring clinical disease.With the arrival of the aging society,more and more patients with knee osteoarthritis have seriously affected the physical and psychological health of patients.A simple,safe and effective method needs to be discovered urgently.To observe the clinical efficacy of intra-articular sticky therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and lavage in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,objectively evaluate and analyze its mechanism of action and clinical application value,and provide basis for clinical treatment.Methods: From January 2018 to October 2019,66 patients with knee osteoarthritis who were treated in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were randomly divided into control grou and treatment group(one case in each group was removed due to personal reasons),32 cases in each group.Comparing the age,sex and course of disease of the two groups,there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable.The control group was given intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate and fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine,and the treatment group was given intra-articular sticky therapy combined with fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine.Both groups were given health education for 5 weeks.Visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Western Ontario and Mc Master University Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)score,Lysholm score and clinical efficacy were compared before and after treatment in the two groups.Patient safety indicators were observed before and after treatment.Results: There was no significant difference in VAS score,WOMAC score and Lysholm score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),which was comparable.The VAS scores in both groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).The WOMAC knee function score,pain,stiffness and improvement of joint mobility in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P < 0.01);the Lysholm score in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P <0.01),and the difference was statistically significant.The total effective rate in the treatment group was 87.50% better than that in the control group(71.88%),the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Before treatment,all patients underwent blood routine,liver function,renal function,electrocardiogram and other tests,and no abnormal results were found.After treatment,there was no significant change in comparison;no significant adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Conclusion:1.The symptoms of knee osteoarthritis in both groups were improved after treatment;the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection group was better than that of sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection group alone.2.Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis did not increase the adverse reactions of patients,and the safety was good.3.Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can significantly relieve pain,improve function and improve the efficacy,which is worthy of further clinical research and application.
