ObjectiveEndometrial cancer and cervical cancer and ovarian cancer with female reproductive system three major malignant tumors,a serious threat to human health.According to domestic and foreign research shows that the incidence rate is rising, and the age of onset was younger trend.Histopathological examination after curettage is still the basis of diagnosis of endometrial cancer, there is still no ideal molecular markers used in clinical. In this study,we investigated the expression of synuclein-? in three endometrial tissues and its relationship with clinicopathological features and poor prognosis of endometrial carcinoma.MethodsThe expression of synuclein-? in different types of endometrial tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry. The age, surgical stage and histological score of synuclein-? and endometrial carcinoma were analyzed.Grade, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion, ascites cytology and other clinical and pathological characteristics of the analysis.Results(1)We found that the positive expression rates of ?-synuclein in normal endometrial tissue, atypical hyperplasia endometrial tissue and endometrial carcinoma were 0%(0/12),43.3%(13/30)and 83.7 %(113/135),?-synuclein with the progress of endometrial lesions, the positive rate was significantly increased, the difference was significant(P <0.05).(2)?-synuclein in the endometrial mild atypical hyperplasia of the positive expression rate of 25.0%,?-synuclein in the endometrial hyperplasia of the positive expression of 40%,?-synuclein in the endometrial severe atypical The positive expression rate of ?-synuclein was 58.3%,and the expression of?-synuclein was increased with the increase of histological grade of endometrial dysplasia, but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).(3)The expression of ?-synuclein is related to the clinical stage, the depth of myometrial invasion and the lymph node metastasis(P <0.05),which is not related to age and histological grade(P > 0.05).The expression of?-synuclein increased with the increase of clinical stage, the increase of invasion depth, lymph node metastasis.Conclusions(1)With the progress of endometrial lesions ?-synuclein expression rate increased, suggesting that ?-synuclein may become a new biological markers of endometrial cancer.(2)The expression of ?-synuclein in endometrial carcinoma may be related to the clinical stage, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis of endometrial carcinoma, which may be an indicator of poor prognosis.
