| ObjectiveTo explore the effect of empowerment education on medication compliance, selfefficacy, medicine belief and depression, and to provide new ideas for future clinical nursing work.MethodsThis study is a clinical randomized controlled trial.A simple random sampling method was used to select 120 patients with depression in a psychosomatic ward of a tertiary hospital in Dalian from December 2016 to April 2017,according to the random number table, they were divided into intervention group and control group,60 cases in each group, the wards were set with 40 beds, the average hospitalization days was 7-10 days.In the period of hospitalization,1 months after discharge and 3 months after discharge, routine health education was carried out for the control group, and the patients in the intervention group received the education on the basis of this. The patients were hospitalized on the day of admission,1 months after discharge,3 months after discharge, and 6 months after discharge, and evaluated by the researchers’ compliance questionnaire,self-efficacy scale, drug belief scale and Hamilton depression scale to evaluate the compliance,self-efficacy,belief and depression of the patients with depression.Results1 The evaluation of the intervention measures: before the intervention, the compliance score of the patients in the intervention group was(2.05±1.18),and the control group was(2.14±1.12),the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The outcome of the intervention group was significantly lower than that before the intervention in the intervention group(P<0.05).The patients in the intervention group had significant interaction effect, and the change trend of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.001).The patients in the control group were lower than those in the same period(P<0.05).2 The evaluation of intervention measures by the belief of medicine: before intervention, the score of medication belief in the intervention group was(5.14±3.26),while that in the control group was(4.89±2.69),and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the intervention, the score of drug belief in the intervention group at three time points was significantly higher than that before the intervention(P< 0.05).The intervention group had significant interaction effect in the drug belief score, and the change trend in the two groups was significantly different(P<0.001).The scores of the drug belief in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the intervention group at each time point. The control group in the same period(P<0.05).3 Evaluation of self-efficacy on intervention measures: before intervention, the selfefficacy score of the intervention group was(13.98±3.42),while that of the control group was(13.95±2.92),and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The selfefficacy score of the intervention group at three time points was significantly higher than that before the intervention(P<0.05).The self-efficacy score of the intervention group had significant interaction effect, and the change trend of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.001).The self-efficacy score of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the intervention group at each time point. The control group in the same period(P<0.05).4 The evaluation of the degree of depression on the intervention measures: before intervention, the Depression Scale score of the intervention group was(17.09±5.45),while that of the control group was(17.11±3.78),and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The score of depression scale in the intervention group was significantly lower than that before the intervention(P<0.05)in the intervention group(P< 0.05),and the depression scale of the intervention group was better than that of the control group(P<0.001),and the Depression Scale scores of the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionEmpowerment education effectively improved the medication adherence, selfefficacy and medication belief of patients with depression, and reduced the degree of depression. |
