| Objective:This study investigated the common diseases of students and their influencing factors to understand the basic state of common diseases and their major health risk factors in high school students in Jilin Province. The main problems were found and the students’ physical fitness was improved to take further health interventions.Strengthen the management of school health work to provide scientific evidence. Methods:This study used a sample survey method to investigate the common disease examinations and influencing factors among students from grade 1 to grade 3 in high school students in Jilin Province in 2017.The common disease examination included students with moderate to severe vision(myopia),dental caries, malnutrition, and overweight.Obesity, high blood pressure, and influencing factors were investigated using a questionnaire survey.Epidata software was used to enter information after data collection.SPSS 24.0 was used to statistically describe and analyze the data. Results:A total of 2246 high school students were investigated in this survey, including 711 in Changchun City,815 in Jilin City and 720 in Tonghua City. There were 1,045 boys and 1,201 girls, and 1,481 high school students living in urban areas. There are 765 high school students in the suburbs. In this common disease examination, the detection rate of moderate to severe visual acuity was 78.45%,the detection rate of dental caries(permanent teeth)was 62.24%,the detection rate of overweight obesity was 12.28%,the detection rate of malnutrition was 9.34%,and the blood pressure was negative. The high detection rate was 30.81%.In univariate analysis of high school students’ common disease impacts, different regions, genders, places of residence, drinking sugary drinks,high-intensity exercise frequency, exposure to sunlight, light usage during reading, and average daily TV viewing time were found.Whether they played computer games or playing video games, whether they participated in cram schools,or whether they smoked were statistically significant(p<0.05)for high school students with severe degree of vision impairment in Jilin Province;they were statistically significant for high school students in Jilin Province. The influencing factors include: different regions, genders, places of residence, drinking sugary drinks, eating sweets, eating fried foods, frequency of eating breakfast every week, smoking;gender, place of residence and eating sweets are statistically significant for overweight and obesity.(p<0.05);different regions, grades, and places of residence had statistically significant differences in malnutrition among students(p<0.05);different regions, places of residence, and eating fresh fruits had statistically significant higher blood pressure in high school students(p< 0.05).In a multivariate analysis of high school students’ common diseases,a multifactor analysis of moderate to severe visual acuity among high school students in Jilin Province was found: regional,residential,high-intensity exercise frequency, exposure to sunlight, reading lighting, and average daily TV viewing time The factors affecting high school students with severe visual impairment are: 1.65 times living in the city with poor eyesight in high school students living in rural areas, and the longer the exposure to sunlight, the greater the risk of poor vision(OR=1.534);Region,gender,and place of residence Drinking sugary drinks has an effect on dental caries in senior high school students. The risk of developing females is 1.701 times that of males. The risk of caries in rural senior high school students is lower than that of urban senior high school students(OR=0.494).The more you drink sugary drinks,The risk of dental caries is higher for students;gender, place of residence, and sweets are risk factors for overweight and obesity in high school students. The risk of women is 1.547 times that of men.The risk of overweight and obesity living in rural high school students is that they live in urban high school students. At 1.270 times, with the increase in the number of sweets, the risk of overweight and obesity is increasing.Regional and grade levels are risk factors for malnutrition in high school students. The risk of malnutrition in third-year senior high school students is 0.642 times that of first-year high school students;regional, residential, and eating sweets are risk factors for high blood pressure in high school students. With the increase in the number of fruits, the risk of high blood pressure is increasing. Conclusion:The detection rate of common diseases in senior high school students in Jilin Province is relatively high.Poor vision in moderate and severe eyes, caries(tooth)and high blood pressure are the most common diseases. It is also a prominent health problem in school health in Jilin Province. Therefore,it is recommended that The administrative department of education must strengthen school hygiene construction, actively carry out health education and publicity lectures, improve bad habits, promote students to develop healthy learning and lifestyle, improve students’
