Object:The aim of this study was to explore risk factors, etiology and near future prognosis in acute multiple brain infarct. Methods : The clinical data of patients with acute cerebral infarction were retrospectively analyzed. All of them were hospitalized patients in NO.1 Hospital of Jilin University Affiliated Hospital department of neurology and its department II from January 2016 to October 2017.All patients were seperated into acute single brain infarct(ASBI)group(100)and acute multiple brain infarct(AMBI)group(115).And in patients with AMBI,the circulation of the lesions was divided into one side anterior circulation, bilateral anterior circulation, posterior circulation, and anterior and posterior circulation AMBI.We assessed the patient's risk factors and causes in detail. In additon,NIHSS score scale and modified Rankin scale were used to evaluate the degree of neurological impairment in patients at admission and 3 months after onset, and the factors affecting their prognosis were analyzed. Results The results of the study were shown:The ASBI and AMBI had statistical significance in heart disease(C2=8.231,P=0.004)and admission NIHSS scores(t=4,077,P=0.000),and AMBI in different cycles had statistical significance in age(t=3.182,P=0.027).According to the analysis of the proportion of each subtype of TOAST subtype, the causes of ASBI were LAA(67.0%),SAO(29.0%),SUE(4.0%);AMBI were LAA(68.7%),CE(13.0%),SUE(12.2%),SAO(6.1%),the differences between ASBI and AMBI were obvious. The causes of one side anterior circulation AMBI were LAA(84.6%),CE(9.6%),SAO(3.8%),SUE(1.9%);the bilateral anterior circulation AMBI were SAO(28.6%),SUE(28.6%),LAA(21.4%),CE(21.4%);the posterior circulation AMBI were LAA(68.8%),CE(15.6%),SUE(12.5%),SAO(3.1%);the anterior and posterior circulation AMBI were LAA(58.8%),SUE(29.4%),CE(11.8%).AMBI in different cycles had statistical significance in etiology(C2=33.406,P=0.000).The prognosis of acute cerebral infarction in admission of NIHSS scores(F=-11.712,P=0.000),the etiology(C2=12.757,P=0.005),whether single isssue(C2=10.221,P=0.000)had statistical significance. And the admission of NIHSS score and multiple lesions were independent risk factors for the poor prognosis of acute cerebral infarction. Conclusions: ASBI and AMBI differ in risk factors and etiologies, the incidence of heart disease in AMBI and the mean of admission NIHSS score were higher than that of ASBI.The causes of AMBI were LAA,CE,SUE,SAO.AMBI has a relatively poor prognosis.
