Objective:To evaluate the effect of eye acupuncture therapy combined with Yiqitongluo method in the treatment of diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy;Further optimize the treatment plan and explore the mechanism of eye acupuncture. Methods:From September 2015 to December 2017,were collected from 75 cases(90 eyes)diagnosed as diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy in the Eye hospital of Chinese academy of Chinese medical sciences.Based on the principle of random grouping, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, one was treated with yiqitongluo method and nutrition nerve treatment as control group, the other was combined with eye acupuncture therapy as treated group, two weeks for one course of treatment, two courses of treatment,Vision, visual fields(MS,MD,LV)and TCM syndrome score were observed before and after treatment.SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis to evaluate its clinical efficacy.Results:1.The randomized controlled studies were:included in the control group and treatment group. Before the treatment, two groups of patients at gender, age, vision, visual field and general conditions were no statistically significant difference.2.In the patients with diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, hypertension accounted for 67.6%,hyperlipidemia was 19.7%,coronary heart disease accounted for 19.7%,and cerebral infarction accounted for 18.3%.3.The incidence of diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy combined with diabetic retinopathy was 40.48%,while that of diabetic macular edema was only 0.024%.4.The best corrected visual acuity(logMAR)in both groups was obviously improved afte treatment, and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. The comparison between the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05),and the vision in treated group was seemed improving more rapidly.5.MS in both groups was significantly improved after treatment. There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05),and the improvement of MS in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group.About MD,there was significant reduction in both groups before treatment, while P>0.05,there had no statistical differences between the two groups. The LV of the two groups after treatment was reduced compared with that before treatment, while P>0.05,no statistical differences between the two groups. Two groups of patients showed a decrease in their self-reported eye symptoms after treatment, while P>0.05,the comparison of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups showed no significant difference.Conclusion:1.The combination of Chinese and western medicine method can effectively improve the vision, the visual field and the quality of life of diabetic patients with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.2.Eye acupuncture therapy combined with Yiqitongluo method can signify-cantly improve the vision and visual acuity of diabetic patients with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.3.The characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine were given full play to optimize the treatment of diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.4.Hypertension is the main risk factor for diabetic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy except diabetes, followed by hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease and cerebral infarction.
