1.Investigation on the medicinal condition of Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.and resource distribution in Qiandongnan Liping area.The results showed that there are 5 folk uses in the area:?1?The red fruit can treat the lithiasis;?2?The leaves are mushed to stop the bleeding;?3?The branches as traumatic after were crushed;?4?Incinerating the brannches can disinfection and sterilization in the paddy field of fish culture;?5?The root with other drugs have the indication of bone-setting.At the same time,theresultshowedthattheabundantresourceof Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.and has less exploitation and utilization.2.The total extraction?979g?was obtained from the aboveground part of the Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.by reflux with industrial ethanol.Then,the extract was dissoved in boiling water and extracted with petroleum ether,dichloromethane and butanol respectively,obtaining the corresponding extract of petroleum ether,and fractions through decompress concentrating.Seven compounds were isolated by means of modern chromatographic means including macroporous resin column chromatography?DM101,MCI?,silica gel column,gel filtration chromatography,RP18 reversed phase chromatography,medium pressure column chromatography and semi-preparative HPLC.Their structures were established as Acteoside?1?,CistanosideC?2?,Luteoloside?3?,Balanophonin?4?,CistanosideD?5?,Ortoside F?6?,Luteolin?7?by spectroscopic apparatus such as IR,UV,MS,1D/2D NMR.Compounds 2-7 were isolated from Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.for the first time.3.Antibacterial activity of crude extracts and compounds was investigated by MTT method In vitro.The FrC1,FrC2 and Fr D4 of crude extracts showed antibacterial activity to Streptococcus mutans with IC₅₀ 8 mg/mL,1 mg/mL,8 mg/m L respectively.FrC1,FrC2,FrC3,FrC4,FrD4 indicatied inhibitory activity against streptococcus agalactiae,with IC₅₀ were 1 mg/mL,2 mg/mL,4 mg/m L,1 mg/m L and 1 mg/mL respectively.The same method was used to determine the inhibitory activity of compounds 1 and 3 against streptococcus and no-streptococcus.As a result,compound 1 had no obvious inhibitory activity on both strains,compound 3 had inhibitory activity against S.agalactiae with MIC 8 mg/mL.The compound 7 showed inhibition activity against Staphylococcus aureus.4.Analyze the scientificalness of the folk medicine Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.Based on the analysis of the chemical constituents from N-butanol fraction and the antimicrobial activity,the folk application of Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.in tonic,antibacterial anti-inflammatory and traumatic hemostasis have certain scientific nature.The postpartum recovery may be connected with the phenyl alcohol glycosides with good antiocidant effect in plant Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz.The effect preventing cold is likely to be associated with flavonoid and phenyl alcohol glycosides.
