Purpose: 1.The similarities and differences of BBB scores were observed after the injury of half transverse fracture and Allen's spinal cord injury.2.To determine the change of the survival of endogenous neural stem cells and the differentiation to the astrocytes after spinal cord injury and ultrashortwave therapy.Methods: 1.Respectively in two different ways of damage of randomized 20 spinal cord injury in rats,and after the damage of 1,3,5,7,14 days,we used BBBscore to observe the hind limbs movement.2.46 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:the sham(operation)group;the control group,in which SCI was not given any treatment;treat group,began giving small doses of ultrashort wave therapy at24 h after injury,7min once daily treatment until the rats were executed.Locomotors functional recovery was assessed every weeks post operation period by performing open-field locomotors tests in BBB score..At the end of the study,the segments of spinal cord encompassing the injury site were removed and the slices were cut either in the vertical or horizonal axis,for the following HE,immunochemistry and immunofluorescence of Nestin and GFAP,to observe the proliferation,migration and differentiation of the stem cells.Results:(1)Compared with the spinal cord injury of Allen's method,the recovery rate was accelerated after 5 days after the injury,which exceeded the former in the 7th day,and the difference was statistically significant on the 14 th day(p<0.05).(2)The BBB score in the ultradhourtwave treatment group was higher than that in the control group until the day of 14,and the difference was significant(p<0.05).(3)HE:Compared with the control group,the treatment group had more hemorrhage on the third day,but in the 7th and 14 th days,the tissue necrosis was smaller than the control group.(4)immunofluorescence : In the central canal of spinal cord,Nesitn have the most density in 3 days after injury,whereas GFAP in the 7days.In the white matter,the numbers of Nestin+ and Nestin+/GFAP+ in the rostral and caudal of spinal cord are inconformity.On the 14 th day after the injury,the number of Neu N+ cells in the treatment group was greater than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: Spinal cord injury can promote the proliferation of stem cells in the central canal,promote neural stem cells to migrate to the epicenter.small dose of ultrashort wave therapy can promote neural functional recovery,reduce the necrosis area of damage.
