Analysis Of Thyroid Nodule Disease And Related Factors In Hebei Province

Object:To explore the prevalence rate of thyroid nodule among Hebei Province and to analyze the influencing factors of thyroid nodules.Methods:The survey was conducted among 1257 volunteers from Licun county in Shijiazhuang city and 1393 volunteers from Renqiu in Cangzhou city from October 2015 to March 2016.The volunteers are all adult.Epidemiological survey form was sent out to investigate the general condition,history of thyroid disease and familv history.diet and living habits of the subjecls.Physical examination was performed to measure blood pressure,height,bodv mass.and waist circumference and.Fasting venous blood and morning urine were collected.blood glucose,blood lipid,uric acid,glycosylated hemoglobin and urinary iodine were measured.Thyroid ultrasfmography was applied to make a definite diagnosis of thyroid nodule.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression were used to analyze factors of thyroid nodule.Results:A total of 2650 volunteers participate in the survey,a total of 477 patients with thyroid nodules,thyroid nodule detection rate was 18.0% after inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria selection,a total of 2305 respondents in this study,divided into thyroid nodule group and normal control group,the group of 477 cases of thyroid nodule,with an average age of 52.92(15.24)years old,male 208 cases(n=43.6%),269 cases of female(n=56.4%);The normal control group was 1828,the mean age(39.67±15.19),female 801(n=43.8%),and male 1027(n=56.2%).Conclusion:This study indicated that age、BMI、FBG、HbA1c、TSH、TPOAb are independent risk factors for thyroid nodules.
