| Background: More than 25% of the population in industrialized countries are affected by allergic diseases,of which 50% are allergic to hay pollens,and humulus pollens is one of the major allergen causing allergic diseases in the summer and autumn,but there are few reports focus on the sensitization of humulus pollens.Objective: To explore the characteristics of distribution and sensitization of Humulus pollens in Chongqing.Methods: Standard samples of humulus pollen were made to identify the standard morphology of it.Humulus pollens in air were collected by exposuring the sheet glasses in the pollen collector from June 7,2017 to January 31,2018.Daily meteorological data was obtained from Chongqing Meteorological Bureau.The sensitization rate of Humulus pollens was tested by the means of skin prick test.Results: The ornamentation characters of humulus pollen was fine grainy,with three holes on a circular shape looking from the polar view and a single hole on a ellipsoid shape looking from the side view,the sizer of it was 21.6 um(±1.77)in the equatorial diameter,and 23.20um(±1.83)in polar diameter.This studycollected 1395 grains of humulus pollens in all.The average daily-concentration of Humulus pollen from June 2017 to January 2018 was 0.83,1.61,2.13,12.57,8.41,1.97,and 0.97 respectively.1425 patients with allergic rhinitis/asthma or AD were collected in this study,among them 210 patients were sensitized by humulus pollen(14.74%),monthly-sensitization-rate of it from June 2017 to January 2018 was11.61%,10.37%,11.66%,22.45%,29.37%,20.13%,16.13%,16.42%respectively.The correlation coefficient between daily pollen concentration and daily average temperature is 0.37(p<0.01),dew point temperature is0.46(p<0.01),relative humidity is-0.62(p=0.51),24 hour precipitation is0.28(p=0.02),maximum wind speed is 0.88(p<0.01),and maximum wind direction is 0.14(p=0.13).Conclusion: The humulus pollen concentration reached its peak in September,then decreased slowly,and basically recovered in December.The sensitization rate to humulus pollen began to rise in September and reached the peak in October,then gradually declined,and tended to be balanced in December.The concentration of humulus pollen was positively correlated with the average temperature,dew point temperature,the extreme wind speed and 24 hours precipitation,and has no relation to relative humidity and wind direction. |
