Clinical Research Of Treating Chronic Pyogenic Osteomyelitis By Acupuncture Combined With Medicine Of “Strengthening The Body Resistance And Reinforcing Deficiency”

Objective:Evaluate the clinical effect and superiority of Strengthening the Body Resistance and Reinforcing Deficiency therapy by Chinese Traditional Medicine,acupuncture,moxibustion and Western therapy to cure chronic pyogenic osteomyelitis.Provide a reference and evidences for treating chronic pyogenic osteomyelitis,and rich treatment.Method:60 chronic pyogenic osteomyelitis patients are randomly divided into observation and control groups,each group of 30 cases.The observation group are treated with conventional western therapy,and the control group are treated by acupuncture combined with medicine therapy on the basis of conventional western medicine.The period is 4 weeks.Evaluate the effect referring to the indexes of pain,granulation tissue,secreta etc.before the treatment and on the 7^th,14^th,and 30^thday.Result:By comparison of the two groups’demographic characteristics,clinical features and clinical effects before the treatment,there exist no significant difference（p>0.05）,so they are comparable.1.By comparing the VAS scores between pretherapy and post-treatment within the groups and comparing that between the two groups at the same time point（p<0.05）,two groups both can improve the VAS scores,and the control group is superior to the observation group.2.By comparing the granulation tissue scores between pretherapy and post-treatment within the groups and comparing that between the two groups at the same time point（p<0.05）,two groups both can improve the granulation tissue scores,and the control group is superior to the observation group.3.Bycomparingthesecretascoresbetweenpretherapyand post-treatment within the groups and comparing that between the two groups on 7^thday（p<0.05）,two groups both can improve the secreta tissue scores,and the control group is superior to the observation group.By comparing the secreta tissue scores between the two groups on 14^thh day and 30^thday,there is no significant difference（p>0.05）.Conclusion:1.Both Strengthening the Body Resistance and Reinforcing Deficiency therapy by using Chinese Traditional Medicine,acupuncture,moxibustion and Western therapy and conventional western medicine can improve patients’pain,granulation tissue and secreta.2.For improvement of patients’pain,granulation tissue and secreta,it is superior to conventional western medicine that Strengthening the Body Resistance and Reinforcing Deficiency therapy by using Chinese Traditional Medicine,acupuncture,moxibustion and Western therapy.
