Objective:To evaluate the changing characteristics of hepatitis B virus carrier rate in recent 25 years in our country,clarify the significance of hepatitis B vaccination and provide the basis for clinical prevention and treatment.Methods:Meta-analysis was used to summarize the data extracted form 50 studies retrieved in Pubmed,CNKI,Springer,Wiley,Wanfang,VIP.Results:The carrying rate of hepatitis B virus in China was declined in the past 25 years.The difference in the carrier rate of hepatitis B was statistically significant(P<0.05);2005to2016 Northeast Hepatitis B carrier rate was 4%;North China 3%;East China 7%;Central China 7%;Northwest 5%;Southwest 5%;South China 8%.Conclusion:In the past 25 years Hepatitis B virus carrier rate showed a downward trend,HBV infection has been effectively controlled;Carrying rates in seven regions of China were compared form2005-2016,with the highest carrying rate in southern China,the lowest carrying rate of hepatitis B in North China and Northeast China.
