Objective: To investigate the Prox-1 and Ki-67 expressions in gallbladder carcinoma tissues.Analyzing the relationship between the expression levels of Prox-1 and Ki-67 in gallbladder cancer and clinicopathological parameters.Discussion two kinds of protein in primary Carcinoma of the gallbladder,and the relationship with development and prognosis.Methods: 1.The expression of Prox-1 and Ki-67 in gallbladder tissue(benign group)was detected by immunohistochemistry in 35 cases of gallbladder carcinoma(20 cases with lymph node metastasis,15 cases without lymph node metastasis)and 17 cases of benign gallbladder disease.And to compare the differences in the expression of the two proteins and whether they are related;The relationship between the expression of two proteins and clinicopathological factors was analyzed by ?2 test and Spearman rank correlation test.2.The relationship between the expression of Prox-1 and Ki-67 and the survival time of gallbladder carcinoma patients was analyzed.The relationship between the two proteins and the prognosis of primary gallbladder carcinoma was analyzed.Results: The expression of Prox-1 and Ki-67 in different tissues was different.The positive expression rate of both proteins was: benign group> lymph node metastasis group> lymphatic metastasis group.The positive rate of Prox-1 expression in lymphatic metastasis group was significantly higher than that in non-lymphatic metastasis group and benign group.There was no significant difference in the positive rate of Prox-1 expression between the lymph node metastasis group and the benign group.There was no significant difference in the positive rate of Ki-67 expression between lymph node metastasis group and non-lymphatic metastasis group.The positive rate of Ki-67 expression in lymph node metastasis group and non-lymphatic metastasis group was significantly higher than that in benign group.The expression of Prox-1 and Ki-67 was correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation in gallbladder carcinoma.The expression of Prox-1 and Ki-67 was not correlated with the sex and age of the patients.The correlation between Prox-1 and Ki-67 expression in gallbladder carcinoma was not significantConclusions: Both Prox-1 and Ki-67 positive rates in gallbladder carcinoma tissues of primary gallbladder carcinoma patients were significantly higher than the control group.The expression intensity of the two proteins was related to the degree of differentiation,but the correlation between the expression of the two proteins was not positively correlated.The study also shows that Prox-1 is important for the prognosis of gallbladder cancer.
