Objective: To compare different clinical effects of acupuncturing twelve jing-wellpoints in linked meridians and acupuncturing yuan-primary points and luo-connectingpoints in linked meridians in the treatment of stroke recovery period.Method: According to the illness, patients of stroke recovery were divided into light,ordinary,severe and very severe.20patients were included in every type and randomlydivided into two groups of twelve jing-well points in linked meridians and yuan-primarypoints and luo-connecting points in linked meridians. Treatment once daily, efficacy wasevaluated20days after the last treatment.Results:①Symptom improvement aspects: By comparison before and after treatment,there were significant differences between groups of twelve jing-well points in linkedmeridians and yuan-primary points and luo-connecting points in linked meridians(P﹤0.01);②Clinical therapeutic effect aspects: There was no significant difference betweengroups of twelve jing-well points in linked meridians and yuan-primary points andluo-connecting points in linked meridians (P﹥0.05).Conclusion: Both methods of acupuncturing twelve jing-well points in linkedmeridians and acupuncturing yuan-primary points and luo-connecting points in linkedmeridians can significantly improve symptoms of stroke recovery; Two treatment methodshave a similar clinical efficacy;Method of acupuncturing yuan-primary points and luo-connecting points in linked meridians is more convenient and easy to be accepted bypatients.
