Objective: To investigate the significant features of ocular adnexal lymphoma and provide reference for the ophthalmologist to diagnosisfor ocular adnexal lymphoma. Methods: Retrospectively summarize the clinical and image data of46 patients diagnosed with lymphoma who were treated in our department and clearly diagnosed by biopsy between January 2012 to September 2016.Analyze the clinical features and image features combined with the literature. The recorded data included: general condition, ocular symptoms and signs, extraorbital lesions, clinical stage, image findings, and pathological findings.Result: Within the 46 patients of ocular adnexal lymphoma, there were 29(63%)males and 17(37%)females.All patients were non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, and there were 35 cases(76%)of extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma ofmucosal-associated lymphoid tissue,6cases(13%)of diffuse large B cell lymphomas,2 cases(4%)of Mantle cell lymphoma,2 cases(4%)of NK/T cell lymphoma,and1 cases(2%)of follicular lymphoma.Of the 35 extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma ofmucosal-associated lymphoid tissue,23 cases were in the unilateral ocular adnexa,6 lesions involve more than one ocular adnexa of the left or right eye,6 cases were bilateral ocular adnexa, the most common siteof disease wasorbit;15cases(43%)showed no extraorbital lesion and 7 patients(20%)showed lesions in other sites of the body. The images of extranodal marginalzone B-cell lymphoma ofmucosal-associated lymphoid tissue showed lesions were clear in border, irregular in shapes in most patients, and there was no bone destruction. The lesions of six patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma were seen in the unilateral ocular adnexa, five patients had previous history of lymphoma in other sites.Andlesions of 4 cases were located at the orbit. And images of lesions of six cases were irregular in shape, unclear in border, and there were three cases with bone destruction. Conclusion: The ocular adnexal lymphoma was more common in male patients.,the lesions were more seen in unilateral eye,and the most common siteof diseasewasorbit. The most common pathological type is extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma ofmucosal-associated lymphoid tissue, which lesions were confined, most patients werediagnosed early, and the imaging findingswere not specific.Compared with other types of ocular adnexal lymphomas, diffuse large B cell lymphomas mostly manifests as a systemic disease, and imaging examinations often showed irregular in shape, unclear in border and bone destruction.Diagnosis of lymphomas based on clinical features and imaging features is difficult, and its diagnosis must combined with biopsy.
