Objective To observe the clinical effect of poppy paste in the treatment of diabetic foot and its effect on the expression of ?-NGF in granulation tissue.Clarify the mechanism of opium poppy ointment to promote the repair of wound and tissue regeneration of diabetic foot from the site of molecular biology.Hence providing research methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine external therapy.Methods Select 62 cases of damp heat-toxin and rot into gangrene(2-3 level at Wagner grading)of diabetic foot inpatients during November 2014 to October 2017 at Hangzhou Geriatric Hospital.The use of randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases were completed in each group.In the treatment group,poppy ointment rubbed the ulcer and surrounding area congestion with the thickness of about 1?2mm;In coutrol group,the wound was cover with 0.5%iodophor gauze.Sinus and abscess were treated with gauze drainage,the dressing was changed 2 times a day in each group.Then,observe the carrion purification time,muscle growth time and the wound healing time.The growth trend and content of ?-NGF on the 15th day and 30th day of wound granulation tissue were tested by nerve growth factor immunostaining and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The carrion purification time,muscle growth time and the wound healing time of the treatment group was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).Results of Immunohistochemistry showed:The expression and content of ?-NGF in granulation tissue on the 15th day of treatment group were higher than those in control group(P<0.01).The expression and content of ?-NGF in granulation tissue on the 30th day of treatment group were higher than those in control group 30th and 15th days(P<0.01).Conclusion The curative effect of poppy ointment is better than iodophor in the treatment of damp heat-toxin and rot into gangrene(2-3 level at Wagner grading)of diabetic foot inpatients.And poppy cream can promote the growth of granulation tissue and epithelial cells by increasing the content of local tissue ?-NGF,thus shortening the healing time of the wound.
