| Objective:To analyze the effect of the rebamipide on mucosa repair and Hp eradication for gastric ulcer patients,and to find out the treatment course of rebamipide in the treatment of gastric ulcer.Methods:The Hp(+)patients were divided into four groups,and they took triple therapy,bismuth quadruple therapy,rebamipide(for 8 weeks)+ triple therapy and rebamipide(for 4weeks)+ triple therapy respectively.The antibiotics were discontinued after first two weeks’ treatment.The Hp(-)patients took pantoprazole only,pantoprazole + bismuth,pantoprazole + rebamipide(for 8 weeks)and pantoprazole + rebamipide(for 4 weeks)respectively for 8 weeks.The symptom,endoscopic characteristics,pathology inflammatory activity grading and concentration of cytokines were compared before and after the treatment.Meanwhile,the eradication rates were compared among the Hp(+)patients.Results:There was no significant difference of Hp eradication rate between bismuth quadruple therapy and rebamipide quadruple therapy(P>0.05).Compared with bismuth,the abdominal pain scores,endoscopic healing condition of rebamipide patients had no statistic difference(P>0.05),but the pathological inflammatory activity grading were better(P<0.05).And the levels of IL-1,IL-6 and MDA in rebamipide group were lower and the levels of EGF,PGE2,VEGF and NO were higher compared with bismuth patients(P<0.05).The patients who received 8 weeks’treatment got better abdominal pain scores and gastric ulcer healing condition,significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion:The rebamipide quadruple therapy and the bismuth quadruple therapy were equivalent in Hp eradication,and the rebamipide group had less side effects.Compared with bismuth,the pathological inflammatory activity grading and side effects were better of rebamipide.And the abdominal pain scores and gastric ulcer healing condition of patients received 8 weeks of rebamipide treatment were better than 4 weeks. |
