Objective:To study the relationship between the polymorphism of the micro RNA137(the miR137)rs1625579 locus and the Uygur schizophrenia in Xinjiang.Methods:We choose Xinjiang Uygur population as the research object,508 cases of Uygur patients with schizophrenia and 556 Uygur healthy control group,carrying out the second generation gene sequencing technology,analysing the gene data.The clinical features of different genotypes were obtained between the case group and the control group.Results:As far as SNP rs1625579,there was a significant difference in gene frequency(? 2=7.061,P=0.006)and genotype(?2=9.309,P=0.01)between the case group and the control group.After genger grouping in case group,we further also drew the conclusion that the difference between male case group and female case group,male case group and male control group,female case group and female control group was not statistically significant.Conclusion:The gene polymorphism of SNP rs1625579 in mi R137 loci(type TT)may be the pathogeny of the Uygur schizophrenia patients in Xinjiang.It also provides the most detailed clinical data and the most qualified sample resources for the construction of the Xinjiang severe mental disease sample bank.
