Effects Of Biyan Jiedu Granule On Serum Levels Of EBV And TSGF In High-risk Patients With Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the intervention effect of Biyan Jiedu Granule on high-risk population of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and its effect on serum TSGF level.Methods:56 cases of high risk patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were collected from outpatients and inpatients of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese Medicine.From April 2017 to February 2018,there were 39 patients with EBV positive and 17 patients with EBV positive after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.were randomly divided into treatment group(n =28)and control group(n = 28)according to the severity of Epstein-Barr virus infection.The treatment group took Biyan Jiedu Granules 10 grams twice a day for one month,while the control group did not take any drugs.The levels of serum EBV and TSGF were detected by Elisa.The changes of serum EBV and TSGF were compared before and after treatment,and the therapeutic effect of Biyan Jiedu Granules on serum EBV and TSGF in high risk population of nasopharyngeal carcinoma was evaluated.Results:The serum TSGF level was 108.34 ±27.01(IU/ml)before treatment and 92.02±29.81(IU/ml)after treatment in high risk population of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.The serum TSGF level after treatment in high risk group of nasopharyngeal carcinoma decreased significantly(P<0.05).The serum EBV-NA11gA level was significantly decreased in 8 cases of EBV turning negative and the OD value of EBV-NA1 IgA decreased in 14 cases.The OD value of EBV-NA1 IgA did not change or increase in 6 cases,and the total effective rate was 78.6%.In the control group,the OD value of EBV-NA1lgA was decreased in 11 patients,and the OD value of EBV-NA1 IgA was unchanged or increased in 17 patients,and the total effective rate was 39.3%.The curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Biyan Jiedu Granule is effective in treating high-risk population of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and can reduce serum TSGF level of high-risk population of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
