Expression Of Tyrosine Kinase EphB4 Receptor And Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor VEGF In Pterygium

Objective: Objective to study the expression level and correlation of Tyrosine kinase EphB4 receptor(EphB4 receptor)and vascular endothelial growch factor(VEGF)in pterygium,and to explore their roles in the development of pterygium.Through the study of this experiment,we can not only make our understanding of the pathogenesis of pterygium more in-depth,but also make it possible for us to make a further study of the pathogenesis of pterygium.Methods: 30 cases of primary pterygium specimens were collected from December 2016 to June 2017 as with Xinjiang Uygur people's Hospital,there were 20 males and 10 females,aged 32~70 years old,the course of June to 10 years,all cases had no other related conjunctival diseases,excluding scleritis,iris inflammation,inflammatory diseases,eliminate abnormal hyperplasia eye disease caused by systemic tumor cells.The pterygium tissue was taken as a case group,and 8 cases of normal bulbar conjunctiva(2mm x 2mm)were taken as control group.All the subjects excluded angular and conjunctival disorders,including glaucoma,iritis,and other ocular diseases.The excised pterygium and normal conjunctiva were immediately placed in the saline,and the surface blood was washed.Then immediately put in the lett liquid and save it,put it in the refrigerator at 4 degrees C,and then put it at-80 C and freeze it in the refrigerator.Respectively by fluorescent quantitative PCR experiments on 30 cases of pterygium and 8cases of normal conjunctival tissue,the expression of GAPDH as reference,expression analysis of 30 cases of pterygium specimens of the tyrosine kinase receptor EphB4 and VEGF have no difference and correlation between each factor expression.Results:The expression of EphB4 receptor in case group and control group: the expression of EphB4 receptor increased in case group compared with control group(P=0.023<0.05);the expression of VEGF in case group and control group: the expression of VEGF in case group was significantly higher than that in control group,with statistical significance(P=0.021<0.05).Conclusion: 1.In case group and control group,the expression of EphB4 receptor and VEGF were increased,the factor that abnormal expression in pterygium,but also provides more direct evidence for the important role of angiogenesis in tumor response and angiogenesis in the pathogenesis of pterygium.2.There is a correlation between the expression of EphB4 receptor and VEGF in pterygium tissue.We think there is a certain internal connection between EphB4 receptor and VEGF expression.It also provides new clues and directions for our research on the pathogenesis of pterygium.
