Objective: Finding out the reproductive health status among rural reproductive women in Xiangxi,to analyze its influencing factors and to explore the relationship between reproductive health and fertility desire. And in order to provide evidence for the development of reproductive health interventions for governments and related departments. Methods: These rural reproductive women with the age from 20 to 49 are choosed randomly in Xiangxi, and the questionnaires are carried out through interview face to face, adopting more methods of documentary questionnaire method?interview method?univariate analysis?multivariate analysis?partial least-squares model and capture datas are used to statistical analysis.Results:(1)Preliminary survey result shows that the reliability validity of questionnaire about the reproductive health status and the fertility desire among rural reproductive women in Xiangxi is good.(2)Statistical analysis is made on the status of reproductive health, gynecological disease status: the prevalence of gynecological diseases is as high as 63.1% and the first three are Vaginitis?Cervicitis?Pelvic inflammation.Reproductive health knowledge status: their overall knowledge of reproductive health was only 44.8%,they have the lowest knowledge of breast health knowledge(28.6%),the second is contraception methods(35.2%)? health care knowledge during pregnancy(36.3%).Reproductive health attitudes status: most rural reproductive women have weak reproductive health care awareness, they take the natural and even the opposite attitude toward prenuptial examination ? regular pregnancy/gynecological examination?in-patient delivery?birth control,51.5% and 52.9% of rural reproductive women are willing to undertake regular gynecological examinations and antenatal examination.Reproductive health behavior status: the health habits of rural reproductive women are generally poor, still some women do not often wash the genitals?share basins and towels with their family and so on.Reproductive health services status: rural reproductive women are not satisfied with the reproductive health services of the community, they actually receive the reproductive reproductive health services provided by the community are not over half.(3)The measurement model in the PLS path model was found that the reproductive health status was influenced by the latent variable of ages?education?individual knowledge?individual attitude?individual behavior?family factors?community factors, the direct path coefficients are-0.0029?0.0775?0.647?0.2821?0.1044?0.0921?0.0246 respectively. Then,a structural model is established to analyze the indirect effects of various factors on reproductive health status, and finally, three influencing paths are obtained with individual knowledge?individual attitude and individual behavior as endogenous latent variables.(4)The chi-square test results are obtained that reproductive health has a significant effect on fertility intentions. There were also differences in reproductive health and fertility desire, among different age groups, education degree and family monthly income.Conclusions:(1)The reproductive health status of rural reproductive women in Xiangxi is poor, and the prevalence of gynecological diseases is high, their knowledge?attitudes and behavior need to be changed.(2)And there are differences in some forms of the factors, which affecting the reproductive health of rural reproductive women are related to individual?family and community. These factors are unpredictable and relevant, and PLS path modeling can effectively address the issue. It will lay the foundation for further research on reproductive health.(3)Strengthen the propaganda of related knowledge of reproductive health,to improve the knowledge awareness about reproductive health, thus promoting their correct reproductive health behavior and reproductive behavior;strengthen the quality and efficiency of the reproductive health service system,to find out the service patterns for minority areas;continuously improve the level of health services in order to reduce the risk of maternal birth.
