?Objective? To explore the distal radical plane angle measuring method,and through the relation analysis of distal radical plane angle and the radial incline and ulnar inclination,discussing and analyzing of the superiority of that the distal radical plane angle as a digital three-dimensional parameter for the evaluation of distal radius,and the clinical significance of the distal radical plane angle in the Digital Orthopedics.? Methods ? Using Mimics Innovation Suite 20.0 medical digital image data processing software for reconstructing the digital three-dimensional model of both sides of the wrist joint's distal radius that belongs to the 20 male volunteers recruited from Shenzhen Shajing Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University,processing and measuring the obtained digital three-dimensional model of distal radius.Measuring method of radial distal plane angle: the inclined angle of the plane that the three apexes(two ulnar sigmoid notches,one radial styloid process)located and the plane perpendicular to the radial longitudinal axis in the radial distal digital three-dimensional model.The measuring method of volar angle and radioulnar angle: according to the measuring method of X-ray film,the volar angle and radioulnar angle of the digital three-dimensional model were measured by simulating X-ray film.Statistical method: the normality test,independent sample t test and correlation analysis were performed using IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical software.Meanwhile,the regression line was drawn using the Microsoft excel 2016.?Results? Normality results: P< 0.05.The left and right distal radical plane angles,volar angles and radioulnar angles,deviation of volar angle and radioulnar angle complied with the normal distribution.The 95% reference range of the left distal radical plane angle was(20.27,24.67).The 95% reference range of the right distal radical plane angle was(19.65,23.77).Independent samples t test results: the left and right radial distal plane angles showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The left and right volar angles,radioulnar angles,deviation of volar angle and radioulnar angle showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The result of correlation analysis: distal radical plane angle and volar angle,distal radical plane angle and radioulnar angle,distal radical plane angle and the deviation of volar angle and radioulnar angle showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Of which,the left and right distal radical plane angles were negatively correlated with the volar angles(left correlation coefficient r=-0.81,right r=-0.88);the left and right distal radical plane angles were positively correlated with radioulnar angles(left correlation coefficient r=0.82,right r=0.88);The left and right distal radial plane angles were positively correlated with the deviation of the volar angle and radioulnar angle(left correlation coefficient r=0.93,right r=0.92);The linear regression equation(the left distal radical plane angle with the deviation of the left volar angle and radioulnar angle)was y = 0.3876 x + 18.553.The linear regression equation(the right distal radical plane angle with the deviation of the left volar angle and radioulnar angle)was y = 0.4202 x + 17.848.?Conclusion? The measuring or calculating method of the distal radial plane angle: by establishing the distal radial digital three-dimensional model,by the deviation of the volar angle and radioulnar angle in two-dimensional X-ray film,using the linear regression equation to calculate.The clinical significance of the distal radial plane angle: the distal radial plane angle was more comprehensive,superior and sensitive to evaluate the distal radius compared with the volar angle and radioulnar angle.In addition,the study on the radial distal plane angle could perfect and develop the digital orthopedics,digital medicine and medical artificial intelligence.
