Objective: To discuss and analysis the changes of AC/A after excimer laser in situ keratomileusis in medium and high myopia. Methods:A total of 60 myopia patients(120 eyes)accepted LASIK,and they were divided into two groups of medium myopia group(-3.25D~-6.00D)and high myopia group(-6.25D~-7.75D)by their preoperative spherical equivalent refraction.According to the different ages, they were also divided into two groups of young group(20~34years old)and pre-presbyopic group(35~45 years old). The preoperative and 1 year postoperative AC/A ratio were measured by gradient method.Result:The preoperative and 1 year postoperative AC/A ratio in different degree myopia groups and different age groups have no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).By comparison of preoperative and 1 year postoperative AC/A ratio, there is statistically significance between young and pre-presbyopic groups(P<0.05).One year postoperative AC/A ratio has a positive correlation to the preoperative AC/A ratio(P<0.05).The preoperative and 1 year postoperative AC/A ratio have a negative correlation to age and axial length.(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is no significant influence on different degree and different age of myopic patients AC/A ratio after LASIK surgery. The preoperative and 1 year postoperative AC/A ratio vary with age and axial length.
