ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to conduct dietary surveys and physical examinations on the survey population to collect data on epidemiological surveys related to chronic diseases through nutrition monitoring of chronic diseases,to understand status of the nutrition health and hypertension prevalencein Tianjin residents by the adult dietary survey and physical examination and major chronic diseases related epidemiological dataof Tianjin, and discusse the relationship between dietary patterns and hypertension.Provide reasonable dietary guidance for hypertensive patients and scientific basis for control of hypertension.MethodsThis study was aimed at Chinese adult chronic diseases and nutrition monitoring in 2015 of Tianjin area, the seven districts of tianjin(heixi/ nankai/ hongqiao/ jinnan/ wuqing/ baodi/ jixian)as the monitoring points.Adopt the stratified random cluster sampling to extract the residents' committeesfrom each monitoring point. In each area45 families fromeach community were extracted, then randomly selected 20 dietary investigation, and finally determine the object of study of 1778 people, including 830 men, women and 948.The survey contained questionnaire survey, medical examination, laboratory test and dierary survey, the dietary patterns derived by using principal component analysis, and combined with unconditional Logistic regression to evaluate the relationship between dietary patterns and hypertension, the statistical analysis using SPSS17.0 software. Results 1.Tianjin surveypopulations' basic situation, the relationship between men and women with education career, smoking,SBP,DBP,TC HDL-C and LDL-C was statistical differences(P<0.05),respectively.In men of the rate of smoking and the level of SBP and DBP higher than women, the level of TC,HDL-C and LDL-C lower than women.2.The prevalence of hypertension among adults in Tianjin surveypopulations was 36.37%,the prevalence of hypertension in men was 56.02%,and 50.00% in women, both of them increased with age.3.Thestandardcondition of various foods and nutrients intake level in tianjinsurveypopulations. The basic standard with valley potato, eggs and livestock and poultry meat;Overrun of oil and salt;Low intake with the fruit, seafood, legumina and nuts, milk and its products.A low intake of Vitamin A,Vitamin B1,Vitamin B2,Vitamin B3,Vitamin C and folic acid. The deficiency of mineral with calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, selenium and manganese.4.The principal component analysis method was used to extract four dietary patterns. The males were high salt-fatty patterns(salt/oil/sauce/other flavor/dessert sauce et al),vegetables-fruit patterns(vegetables/eggs/fruit/beans/milk et al),wine-meat patterns(alcohol/flour/other meat/othergrains/milk et al)and cereal-meat patterns(flour/ others/poultry meat/other meat/fast food et al).The females were high salt-fatty patterns(salt /soy sauce/oil/other condiment/sauceet al),vegetables-fruit patterns(vegetables/beans/fruit/eggs/milk et al),cereal-vegetables patterns(flour/ cereal-vegetables/ vegetables/milk/others et al)and cereal-meat pattern(rice/nuts/fruit/pork/potato et al).The vegetables-fruit patterns was the negative correlation with hypertension. The patterns of cereal-meat patterns was the negative correlation with hypertensionin men.ConclusionThere was a a high prevalence of hypertension in Tianjin surveypopulations, and the kinds of food intake were unbalanced, high intakes of oil and salt, low intakes of fruits, seafood, legume, nuts and milk, resulting in imbalance of nutrients. The vegetables-fruit patterns and cereal-meat pattern were the protective factor for hypertension. Therefore, people with high blood pressure should mainly focus on the healthy patterns, more fresh fruits and vegetables intake and ensure dietary diversity, reduce intake of alcohol, meat and fried fast food,as well as control oil and salt intake, and maintain physical and mental health.
